@@blakebarone1809 I agree with Dale Earnhardt. When Dale was born he was not named Dale Sr. ..... he was Dale Earnhardt ! His son was named Dale Jr. . When most people turn 40 and get old they are so greedy they start going out to restaurants and literally begging for their " SENIOR DISCOUNT " for food, service, and atmosphere that is an absolute joke. The food they get is not only bad... it is hardly enough to feed a 6 year old child and yet they act silly like it was a great deal when they ask the sorry waitress/waiter for a to go box for a plate of food that starts out as an appetizer sized bite of nasty food. In addition to that the atmosphere is horrible in most of those venues. So... Dale Earnhardt did not want to be treated like a worn out delapidated helpless old man. Nothing wrong with that. Dale Earnhardt was tough. RESPECT people... don't come up with your own names for them. Why is the 1st question that people ask you.. and practically the only question they ask you... " How old are you " ? Face the facts.... Most people are old when they turn 35 ( especially women )... but many people who are 80 look ,act, and are physically younger than people half their age. Call him Dale the 1st !.... The one and only !

@@Twinspinner I will preface this with, That is the dirtiest move I've Seen in my 25 + years of watching. The issue here is Nascar's half assed officiating and lack of rules and the use of "actions detrimental", to the point of being used to silence drivers from making negative comments about the sport. Nascar creates this "invisible line" and this gray area as Jr. said. And now that someone decide to wreck 2 people instead of the typical 1 they decide to make a move. Oh and what a half assed move. He gets the win but isn't eligible for the awful playoff system. This should of been handled like the hail melon where you write a new rule and let it stand. Yeah it's dumb that Dillon got in that way. But its the system they created and the lack of rules and/or vague rules that let him do that. And the worst part is the Nascar will use this for promotional material in the future even though these were "actions detrimental to stock car racing".

This is where my big gripe is as well! If you feel he 'crossed the line' then your decision should have been to remove him as the winner! THAT'S why everyone raises eyebrows when they make decisions like this. Also, I know there are things to look at, but it should NEVER take 3 days to make this decision! That's ridiculous! IMO, the only possible 'infraction' in my eyes was him not lifting and hitting the 22 - I think the contact with the 11 wasn't intentional. But, NASCAR will continue to be NASCAR - wishy washy and inconsistent. As for the 22's fine and Jr's point about there shouldn't have been so many people on pit road - while I agree there shouldn't have been that many people on pit road wish so many cars still running - the fact is, there WERE a lot of people and the 22 clearly could see that. I think endangering people like that deserves a suspension or a MUCH larger fine! I reiterate - you can't let him keep the win and decide it's not a 'playoff eligible' win. It's a DQ or it isn't - it CAN'T be both!!!!

@@kubeanie18 that’s true, but if I see people in the street, my first reaction isn’t going to be to rev my engine and do a burnout in front of them. Joey knew exactly what he was doing. They would have held him accountable but he is taking a spot in the playoffs from someone who didn't wreck someone to get in. And it is about time NASCAR joined the rest of the racing world and actually having some driving standards rather than saying "Boys Have At It" and letting these guys tear up a ton of race cars. This is crap driving. If you didn't know anything about who was in those cars, had they no numbers and you didn't know who was driving, you would say that was over the line. This was like the idiocy that goes on at Bowman Gray on a Saturday night. At some point if NASCAR wants respect, they have to have some standards and not leave this to the law of the jungle
