Any penalties to Austin Dillon won’t be announced until Wednesday. Many people have asked could he keep the win but NASCAR revoke his berth to the Cup playoffs. The answer is yes.

did anyone otice that Dillon had an UNCONTROLLED TIRE VIOLATION AT 2:32:29 into nascar video? waaaay over the line as the announcers stumbled over their words and hushed up for a second and the cameraman, who had the perfect shot of it, bailed out like he didnt want us to see what just happened? one the one hand im old school and believe in no harm no foul. on the other hand ive seen COUNTLESS teams get penalized for it and i would like to think im not watching WRESTLING. as for Logono…bout time someone did what HE WOULD HAVE DONE BACK AT HIM

@bradwillis6591
@bradwillis6591 2 ай бұрын
What's weird about this one, is it's not even necessary. Dillon finishes 30th every race, so what is payback even going to do? He'll finish 35th instead of 30th? Most of the time, payback only works because it hurts the other guy's championship hope, and Dillon can barely break the top 25 every week so it literally doesn't matter.

This did nothing to convince me he doesn't deserve a penalty. He knew he did everything wrong from the restart and decided to just send it. I'm all for giving it your all to win but wrecking two drivers to secure your win is just embarrassing for the sport and I don't get why NASCAR is sharing it like they are proud of it. Reddick came off of turn 4 with good momentum and probably would of been the 3rd car he put in the wall had he not let off after Austin spun Denny.

I do believe there will be retaliation for sure especially from the 22 camp never know with the 11. I dont think that was the way to win, but not making any friends out there, I wonder how Kyle thinks about all this???? Not a #3 fan but not a fan of the 11 either. I keep reading that "Joey did the same to Kenseth". No, he did not. Joey had the faster car, Matt kept blocking him and even ran the 22 up to the wall. Not defending his decision, but Joey SPUN Matt and the FASTER car won. He did not do what Austin did and dive bomb the corner just to get to the bumper of the faster car. Big difference. Austin was the slowest of those three cars and chose to wreck his way to victory lane. Again, not defending either one of them but put the hate aside and admit the differences between the two, Joey was the faster car in both of these instances, thats the facts. Even Denny was faster than the 3 car. Anyway, its going to be an entertaining playoffs! 😂. My bet is that Dillon won't win any races.

Austin had the opportunity to gain a lot of fans and respect after the way he raced the first 399-400 laps of the race. But that finish pushed that chance away and cements everybody’s feelings that he’s a desperate loser grandson punching above his weight class in the cup series. Everybody keeps referring to this as a Dale Sr. move, but, this was not a Dale Sr. move. Dillon came up from four car lengths behind Logano. Well, clearly Logano out raced him even though Austin had the first position on the restart. He couldn't out race him so he basically ran him over to win. Give me a break! I agree Austin Dillon lacks the talent to drive the 3, but Logan has done the exact same thing many times as has Hamlin. I love this kind of racing. It’s not boring…. I just love how short Logano’s memory is. When he’s tho one doing the punting he’s just doin what he had to do…. Can’t allow them to get to your bumper…. Everyone knows that’s what happens at short tracks…. Logano don’t protect himself enough. And Hamlin wrecked himself… he was in the preferred position heading to the line he wasn’t aggressive enough.

Didn't have much respect for AD to begin with. Have waay less now. There's a reason he's been 30-something for years. He should have taken his P2 and gained so much respect and build on whatever they found in his car over the break. That would have taken them farther than this "win" ever will.
