Dale is being the best kind of parent. He introduced her to something he finds passion in, but didn't force her into anything. Guy impresses me in so many facets of life. Not because he's a stubborn race car driver being patient with his kids. But frankly, because losing your dad that young, you have a LOT of questions about life and how to live it that can't be answered by the one person you want to hear that advice from the very most. To get life this right after going through that, I can't help but be in awe of the man Dale is. There's ZERO possibility his dad is in any way disappointed with him.
@chriswebster243 жыл бұрын
I agree. I’ve also always been impressed with how down to earth and humble he is. Despite all the money and fame and everything else he still just seems like a regular guy. It’s funny because people used to say that the only reason he had so many fans is because of who his daddy was. I’m not saying that didn’t make a big difference in the beginning, because it definitely did, then, but the reason he maintained the amount of fans he did, and added so many more over the years, was all because of him. I wasn’t too much of a NASCAR fan when his dad was racing, but I really got into it big, soon after that. I wasn’t sure who to pull for at first, and I had to decide who my favorite driver was gonna be. I told myself it could be anybody besides Jr. He had more fans than anyone, and I didn’t want to be like everybody else. The more and more I watched and got into it, the harder it got for me, because it became more obvious each week that Dale Jr. was simply the coolest guy out there, and it really wasn’t even close. Finally, I just decided that there wasn’t any sense in trying to pretend like I liked someone else better, just because his name wasn’t Dale Jr. I realized something that I think a lot of people who don’t watch NASCAR don’t understand. Jr didn’t have all those fans for all that time because of his daddy. Jr was the most popular driver, year after year, because of Jr. His personality jmade it impossible not to like him.
@FloridaManRacer3 жыл бұрын
@@chriswebster24 100% accurate. I'm not one to fanboy about anything or anyone, but then again, I'm not going to deny that the guy hasn't taught me a few things to re-evaluate in my life because of the way he handles his adversities. Sure the guy has money, and that can solve a lot of problems. But it doesn't teach you how to be a good family man and make the tough decisions in life.

Or you can do as I did when my kiddo was little, put a 18 volt cordless drill battery in it and when she hits the gas will do 360s until she lets off!!! .Dale Jr, I admire your fathering skills, your gonna the the one that little girl always comes too when she needs to talk or with problems and she will know she can talk to you about anything and everything and your gonna have her back no matter what comes up!! So important for a kid and adult to have that person in there life! My kid is 12.years old already and it's been mostly him and I sice he turned 3 years old, he is as much my best friend as he is my son and he might not.realize it but as much as he has needed me growing up I also needed him just as much!!!! Sometimes.whem your dreams just don't work out god sends you a purpose and a reason to look forward to whatever it is you have to do in life because at the end of the day that smile from your kid can fix or change your mood in such a huge way and for myself that just means everything and even if I am not doing what I love being a dad and home every evening to spend with him makes me thankful and love what I am doing!!
