i love listening to these videos, dale sr was my favorite driver as a kid. i remember both him and my ear doctor died the same way about a mouth apart. after that Jr b/c my favorite drive along side tony, and i fell like after about 08 nascar really died it fells like with Jr and tony it was kinda on life support after Sr died and with Jr and tony stepping away or becoming more hatted b/c of attitudes (talking about tony) people just couldn't relate to the new guys and i fell like that is what has led to the decline in nascar.

You don't hear many drivers talk about it but he's 100% right. Cars of the past were so much better because they had different deficiencies. Each team had to drive their car slightly different in order to save parts or make the most of what their car did best. Now every car is pretty much set up the same and runs all out 99% of the time. It just takes some of that driving know-how and skill from the teams out of it. 50 years ago you would never run a car 100% the whole damn race. The strategy has diminished some and for ppl who love the history of road racing it just kinda sucks.

Can you just see Dale Sr. In heaven telling the same stories from his pov with crowds of people sitting around him? Probably has to clean it up a little bit but still. I think it’s funny that people that smoke think they’re hiding it from the people around them like they don’t reek so bad that everybody knows. Even myself when I smoked. You can smell somebody that smokes coming a mile away. Funny.

The scary part is Dale Sr had 3-4 personality’s as well. It looks like JR is the same with multiple personalities. He was the exact same. One time you see him (Dale sr) he’s happy as a pig in shii! Next time he was not happy and just pissed. When I was racing I use to go to every cup race and seen him multiple times. He would always say hi but literally a different tone every time And it was 2-3 personalities I met. I just realized Dale jr is the exact same.

they say if you drop a frog into hot water..... it will jump out but if you put that same frog in water.... and slowly raise the temp..... in about 3 hours you will have some frog legs to eat . that SLOW change is what kills people (and frogs) during heat waves and stuff
