@BkBk-gy6vr Kurt Busch, an accomplished driver tried drag racing. It was unsuccessful. Back in the day Richard Petty went drag racing. The only memorable thing was him crashing and killing some spectators. Tony didn't just hop in Rich's dragster and go racing. He went through Frank Hawley's school to learn how to race and how to concentrate. Drag racing isn't easy.

What a rush with him getting the lead at the last 2 laps of the race. Things like those experiences never come around very often and to be in the moment is something special. Those guys that drive those 410's in the World of Outlaws are great warriors and good competitors and have lots of respect for each other. Thats how racing should be.

"This is me and you can like me or not." Attitude. He's always honest. The more I listen the more I learn about racing. He explains things so it's easy to try and understand. If I'm honest I love the truck races more. Shush, don't tell anyone.😊 my favorite race of the year was Eldora. You could feel how important that track was to him. I learned new rules on short track racing. I love that Tony is trying to keep short tracks elevated. Dale I love the history you bring to those of us that didn't grow up In that life. Ever since the very first time I saw Tony Stewart race I've been impressed with his skill and was instantly a fan. I happend to get free tickets to an Indy car race at Dover Downs. He literally had lapped the entire field and was one of only a handful of guys that didn't crash. It was more a demo derby then a indy car race. He didn't win due to a brake failure but he made me a fan that day. When he came to Nascar I knew he was going to be great. I was sad when he retired from Nascar but now he is driving in my favorite sport I'm pumped. It was awesome seeing him get a Wally. I hope he get Championship and I believe he will. He is one of the best Wheelmen of all time. If there was a Mt Rushmore of the best racing drivers of all time he would be on it.

I always teased my bro after TS went on to become this huge star that he should have stayed and golfed with TS they might have become best buds.
