Wrong again Brett. Tyler didn't want to leave RCR. He wanted a long term contract. Richard screwed the pooch on that but lucked out and got Kyle. So it worked out for him.

I think Kyle will do just fine in the 8 for rcr they have pretty decent equipment and with the talent that Kyle has is going to surprise and shut a lot of people up I'm not gonna lie and say that I wanted Kyle to leave jgr but that ship has sailed this new car has leveled the playing field way more than I ever thought it was going to this year Austin has done ok so far this year and Tyler has been really fast in the 8 so with Kyle's talent everything is gonna be fine I'm just so ready to see him in that 8 car collecting trophies and checkered flags

I believe so too. Tyler should still be competitive, Austin is good for maybe a win or two and kyle busch will likely win four or five times. Bring Austin up to cup in 2024 and you have a pretty solid organization coming off Kyle's first year with RCR

I'd watch the comment on maturity when speaking of Richard Childress. How many race teams do you own, how many vineyards do you own plus the millions of dollars in your pockets. Bottom line is if you want to talk maturity, it wasn't a very good move yet for Hamlin and JGR to contract Reddick just yet when truthfully they do not have a ride for him YET. Maturity, Gibbs is the one that blew it.

That's what I was wondering. Tyler at the start of this season still had 0 wins despite his immense talent and young age. All RC had to do was pay him a fraction of what someone like KFB wants and he and Chevy could've locked him in for a long while. Makes me wonder if Chevy didn't really want him. We see how Chevy has swooped in to save KFB and KBM

Kyle didn't have a choice with jgr. As soon as ty gibbs started making starts in cup. Jgr told Kyle the 18 was no longer an option. He had to choose between 2311, RCR, Stewart Haas, Kaulig. Regardless Kyle Busch was going to be moved to a 2nd tier team. He just picked the best option to compete competitively. It happens but jgr should be ashamed and embarrassed for booting Kyle for his grandson. If Toyota and jgr struggle they know who to blame

Reddick already has all the sponsorship he needs for next year. There are sponsors that are specifically signed on for him and I've heard in acouple different spots that some not all but some of those sponsors will be going with him to 23XI. Its Busch that they need to find sponsorship for. I still wouldn't be surprised to see Denny and MJ buy Reddick out of his contract and have him in that 45 car next year.

Sopt on for Richard how much does testing cost ,he now has a top notch driver with a whole year of testing . If your a solid team you make money not much . But how much to you make for testing. I know for a fact that some of the Chevrolet teams in the truck series will suffer because of this. Someone I know who works on the 25 truck told me earlier in the year they were seeking more manufacture support from Chevrolet will be happening as they concentrate resources on KBM.

I heard them sayin the video that Reddick's contract states that RCR has to build the car, but Kaulig and RCR are in the same shop already. I could also see Kaulig running a 3rd car in this scenario without a charter for AJ at road courses still.

We don't know yet if Kyle is the type of driver who can elevate a team or an organization. We don't yet know if RCR is capable of giving Kyle what he wants in a car. When you look at how JGR and Toyota handled it, it's all about money and the future. They wanted younger guys who don't cost quite as much yet. I mean it's not like Kyle has been setting the world on fire the last couple years. Look at what Hendrick did a few years back. It happened organically with them because of retirements, yet they didn't go after veteran drivers, they went after young drivers. Granted, Larson sort of fell into their lap. Yet getting younger was the goal.

Why is everyone all over Tyler Reddick? He wanted a long term deal and RCR wouldn’t give it to him. So he finds one somewhere else. What’s wrong with that? He is taking care of himself. I would take Tyler over Kyle. Tyler is doing really well in that car. More wins than Kyle has in his. Tyler is up and coming. I think Kyle is past his prime. Hasn’t done much the last couple of years. That being said, I hope he does well at RCR. Toyota obviously doesn’t want Kyle anymore, and it’s probably his shitty attitude that cost him. He has changed his attitude a lot lately, but it’s too late.

Pretty sure Childress was going to run 3 cars in 2024, the 3rd car for Austin Hill. This just steps up the 3rd car option a year earlier. I do not blame Childress for not letting Reddick leave early. Reddick gave no heads up to Richard that he was negotiating with Hamlin about making the move. That's bad business.

I think Reddick in the 78 car is a good idea. It would show what he is capable of as a driver. Almost anyone can run good in Class A equipment. Putting them in Class B or Class C equipment and putting it on the driver's shoulders to run well will tell you what kind of a driver he is.

You could stick Tyler Reddick in a Parr time cup ride whatever races RCR can get sponsorship for. That car doesn't need a charter it can be open team.. Another option is stick hi back in the Xfinty series. RCR is gonna make Tyler Reddick honor his contract unless 23/11 pays a very Hefty fee to buy out one year of Reddicks contract. If RCR can get paid enough for that they should take the money. If Reddick is with RCR for 2023 he is gonna be in for a miserable season and for what Tyler Reddick did he deserves it.

Hamlin really screwed Tyler by not mentoring him and having him speak with RC first about his plans on leaving RCR. You Never leave any job in this manner. I truly believe Hamlin is at fault and knew this would screw Reddick with RCR and also the rest of the NASCAR community making Tyler 100% reliable on 23/11. Not a Hamlin fan before this and certainly not a fan after this blunder of a move and screwing Tyler. I give Tyler credit how is now handling himself with the KB signing and he being pay out of his car.

Is this the Real Housewives of Dirty Mo? Why are these guys so dramatic? Childress was announcing KB as the driver of the #8. Obviously the question about Reddick was coming up. He basically eliminated some drama by explaining it. Also, why wouldn’t he take this time to start another team? And now he has a good driver to do it. Reddick already decided to have a lame duck year, so you can’t blame Childress for that. None of this is really that big of a deal unless you want it to be.
