I never use dynamic mode. It just isn't precise enough. What I do is do normal analysis and then fix it myself. Like the transition part. I manually edit the grid to stay in sync the whole time. I edit around every other two beats most of the time. Then when the transition is done I find the right BPM and apply it to everything after. Same with live drummed tracks or vinyl rips. Then you just go through the whole track to shift the grid. The only downside is, with live drummed tracks it takes a while. Sometimes one track is 10-20 minutes to beatgrid. After I beatgrid a track, I click the lock. That way I know I have gone through the track and I can safely use sync or loops with it.
