Its easy to do. In a wide boil a few inches of generesly salted water then cut cut your asparagus into pieces snd put it in cook at rapid simer for 1 minute. Then imediatly plunge the spears into a bowl of iced water to halt the cooking and keep them green. Try it with chicken prety good.
