Just stick the black tape over the sensor and it will work. The same can be done for the Lux sensor. There is no need to destroy the sensor.

Seriously😅 if you put black tape over it, it won’t detect anything but how do you keep it working? If it doesn’t detect see mines a little bit more complicated than that I have a Bell & Howell and it has motion sensor, but it also has transistors that will detect when something moves, but I tried disassembling the motion sensor and after spending $30 on it it’s not working don’t tell me I could’ve bought some electrical tape and stuck it over the sensor and wouldn’t of wasted $30 actually wasted $60 because now I got a buy another one

Those solar lights comes with a 555 Timer IC of 30 sec. After the light go on, it stays on FOR ONLY 30 SEC. I did this test and now I'm working on the Timer. You have to take the Timer out or bypass it. If you have any info how to remove or bypass the timer just reply. I want the Solar Wall Light to TURN ON when it's dark and TURN OFF at Sunrise. Regards from Curacao Island.
