Please read before removing the PIR Sensor. Firstly this video is misleading. This board has auto switch-off feature after 15 to 30 seconds. With the PIR sensor if your light turns off after 15 to 30 seconds, even if you remove the PIR sensor it will turn off after 15 to 30 minutes. So don't remove the PIR sensor unless you are planning to put it back. :)

Yeah, I removed the PIR sensor and walla.... it DID NOT work! Well, it turned on... but then it automatically turned off after few seconds. So, after removing the PIR, you may have to bypass that sensor and connect something else, WHAT?

Hi Sameera, You are dam right.Tthose solar lights comes with a 555 Timer IC of 30 sec. After the light go on, it stays on FOR ONLY 30 SEC. I did this test and now I'm working on the Timer. You have to take the Timer out or bypass it. Many thanks for your remarks. 100 % TRUE. If you have any info how to remove or bypass the timer just reply. I want the Solar Wall Light to TURN ON when it's dark and TURN OFF at Sunrise. Regards from Curacao Island.

There is also a timer in the circuit. By Remove the motion sensor, the light will only come on for a few seconds and switch off. It won't come on again unless power button is switched off and on again.

I have an almost identical simple one, but with 3 light panels. When switched on, there's 3 choices of brightness, high , low or dim. High and Low come on via the sensor (as it should),then it goes back to dim. My question is, WHY does the dim stay on, and not go out like the H & L after 30 seconds? I've not put it up anywhere, yet, not until I know if the dim is meant to stay ON all night, or not? Or will it go off when daylight comes? Great video, works for some models, but in other models you need to bypass the circuit. Its very easy, you need to weld a piece of cable between the vcc lead and ir lead where the pir sensor was. Hope this trick helps you all

I don't think so. The price you pay will get you without over voltage protection. The light I have is already blinking due to overcharging. When I measure voltage across legs from the solar terminals it is 5.3 volts, for poor 3.7 volts battery.

Isn't it obvious that even if the sensor is removed the lights will stay on only for the period it was turned on in the dark and goes off again in the dark!!!! Most of (posters/repliers) you are missing that part which is the lamp shuts off after a period of time...it is not meant to stay on even if the sensor is removed. This feature is not the function of the PIR sensor it must be built into the circuit itself...why can't you all think🙄 I'm as dumb as you all in electronics 🥴

Bom dia Não funciona da maneira esperada, fiz esse procedimento e ao anoitecer ela acende sozinha porem uma vez só e após apagar não ascende mais exceto se formos manualmente no botão liga e desliga clicar lá, mas mesmo assim ela ascende fica acessa o tempo do timer e apaga não ascende mais.
