Fill's Lawn Care

I was driving around to see if anyone was in need of a free lawn makeover and noticed this neglected yard. I knocked on the homeowners door and told her I'd mow her tall grass for free. She almost started crying when she heard that. Due to a recent disability, she's been struggling with upkeep of the property. The backyard hasn't been cut since last year. She also told me that she'd recently been insulted for having such an overgrown yard. What a world we live in where people would rather insult than help each other out. Hope you enjoy the video. Please be a blessing to someone today! :)

Yes, sometimes it is just something as simple as watering their flowers while I am watering my garden, helping out with edging, or recently I powerwashed a bunch of stuff for folks. Made sure to ask first and get permission, and settle any fears that I was complaining about their property, but it has been some fun afternoons in this neighborhood and was nice to help out.

So what happens when most people do not have miracles healing and either suffer worse or die from the ailment.. Even if they pray in his name? Are they unworthy or not of true enough faith and made to suffer the consequences? Please explain to me how 'he' chooses to let most be sick, to suffer, or die before their time. I'm not trying to be snide or disrespectful... I want to learn how 'HE' works so that few are helped and the masses just go on having problems. In my culture we learn our Creator gives us the strength to deal with the issues that happen in life, not that they will be removed. That is what I want you to tell me about.

I felt this on a personal level. My neighbour knocked on my door one day and asked if they could mow my front yard because they were selling there house. When they noticed I was in a wheel chair and found out what happened (really bad accident on the way to work), they commented they wondered what happened because in the past I had always kept my yard looking great and were wondering what had changed. The long and short, instead of abusing me about my lawn, they were willing to do something about it which in the end helped both of us.

I can understand. In 1996 I broke my back. Had to have ribs taken out to support my spine. I was in a wheelchair for 5 years. I was scared to death I would be dependent on someone helping me the rest of my life. I worked out 4 days a week for 8 long years building my back and and lower back. Lost a 105 pounds in the process. I'm officially disabled but not helpless. I walk and do many things my doctor would be upset about, but I am going to live my life on my terms no one else's. I do what I can do and I need a break from the pain I take it. Then up and back at it. There are people we can help that are worse off than we are that truly need help doing something's. Only a selfish person would not do it. But are the first to ask for help. There are always going to be people that prey on others. We just need to make sure that don't happen. Close communites don't have these problems often. I'm sorry for your injury. But you can still do for yourself, and that's a good thing. Never be so proud you can't ask for help when you need it. Most of the time you will get it cheerfully. Blessing.

I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 11 years. I'm 71 now. My disabled son lives with me. Even though he's disabled, he keeps leaves blown and bagged, plants a little vegetable garden every year, and tries to help with household chores. I do the grocery shopping and sometimes cook. Chopping things is hard because my hands are so afflicted. And my young granddaughter cooks for us too. We all help each other as best we can. God bless this young man!

I am disabled. I use a walker (or a cane for short distances.) A friend will take my trash up to the road for me. My driveway is on an incline making it almost impossible for me to do it. My friend's husband was in stage 4 lung Cancer.Naturally my trash was not a priority for her. She forgot to bring it down for me. So I walked up the hill and got it while my neighbor stood in his yard and watched. When I got about half way back down the drive he ask me if I needed any help. Now I know it not his place to help but what took me 20 minutes to do he could have done it in 2 minutes.one day that man will need help. But karma never forgets.

Well as I have said before as one with Cerebral palsy, Learning Disability, and Depth Perception issues. I also have Hypoglycemia which is considered a blood sugar issue and thus also under ADA as my other disabilities, just wait until you who don't have a disability, it could change in an instant. You may get in a serious accident or have a stroke, then you could end up disabled.

@@raymondcarter1137 - Back in the day, I was the first one to help if I saw a need, without asking. I am a friendly person, and they would never have needed to beg me for help. Now that I have developed a chronic and disabling health condition, there aren't too many people who seem willing to do what I was willing to do. (I know not all are able, and I understand). And by the way, before you say I didn't ask for help, I did. I paid three different lawn people who flaked out on me. I understand not many want to work in 107 degree heat, which we have had this summer where I live, but I was willing to meet them at 6:00 AM, if necessary, so they wouldn't overheat. So, it's not as simple as you seem to think. That's why I am moving to a detached townhome with a small yard, which is the right size for me to keep up, in what seems to be a close-knit community.

I've been disabled (paralyzed) for 20 years now. I can say this, we, most of us who are disabled, hate asking for help with things we can no longer do for ourselves. Additionally, all disabilities are not visible. So if you're neighbor's lawn, or whatever, is not being attended to, just check in on them to see if they're ok. That was a kind and very generous thing you did for this lady. Both my husband and I are disabled, but we have a couple of neighbors who are either elderly or disabled, so when he can, he mows their grass or clears their driveways from snow unless someone else has already done it. We were recently gone out of state for 2 months for a family emergency, and our neighbor mowed our yard twice while we were gone and we are so grateful that she did that because he would have had to go around at least twice, lowering the mower deck after that first time. I hope that neighbor is embarrassed by what she did. God bless you sir, we are supposed to look out for each other whenever we can, and you did it 10 fold as I watched the entire video.

When I was in my thirties I mowed lawns and did weedeating for two elderly ladies, one disabled, plus my own with a push mower! I held down a full time job while raising two daughters! I absolutely felt so good inside doing for others who could not do for themselves! I even trimmed trees and shrubs. I even dug my own flower beds and planted flowers! Our lawns were the best in our community. I truly miss those days...I am now 74 years old! That's why I love watching your videos, it's almost like doing it all once again! Thank you and God Bless!

So, if u r a person with a mobility disability, get a camera. 86% of ppl regardless of the words coming out their mouth would not vote for the right issues so u could be more secure

I do help neighbors when they let me. 😎 At one point I was tired of hearing my neighbor complaining about another neighbor so I just looked at him and said “have you offered to help?” He looked at me like I was nuts and scoffed. I told him if he has time and energy to complain, he’s got time to help. Neighbor has not spoken to me since. 🤣 Side note. The one with the long grass did cut their lawn. He works third shift and with the weather it just got out of control.

Being disabled, I thank you for helping this lady. Not only can we physically not do many things, we are usually on severely limited budgets, so cannot afford to pay someone to help. I also am disabled and know exactly how this homeowner feels. In today’s world sir you are a rarity. Most free lawn services I have seen on KZbin would just cut around all the “stuff” in the yard and leave everything where is was. There appeared to be a lot of obstacles in this yard and you moved everyone that I could see. Your kindness and compassion for a fellow human being knows no boundaries. I commend you for your attitude, attention to detail and your willingness to help someone who could no longer help themselves and who probably was on a very tight budget. God bless you sir, you are a shining example for the rest of the world! May God continue to bless you and yours! 💗😇💗

I would NOT consider this ladies neighbors an actual “neighbors”. I am 73 and disabled widow in a wheelchair. Before I became disabled, I used to mow and rake my neighbors yard. She was older than I am and she was being forced to pay a neighbor kid $40 a week to mow her front and back yard. I did it free! GOD has seen that I am now taken care of.
