I'm from New Brunswick , East Coast of Canada , and the only U.S. State I've been to is Washington , I spent a week or so in Seattle . I can no longer cross the border because of legal problems in the past ; and the last thing you need is any more illegal aliens or invaders .

One tip for if you don't have the time or capability to lay out a folding mat for comfort: practice being in uncomfortable places, whether thats on a rocky outcrop, in a bush with lots of tiny branches that stick into your back, or in a muddy ditch, it is possible to learn the discipline needed to not move in those situations by practicing being in those situations. I was able to hide and remain completely undetected even when several flashlights shined right over me at less than 5 feet away because I had a forest green cloak on in addition to my M81 Woodland BDUs and I got directly into a bush and stayed there for several hours until everyone left. Also, make sure to practice slow, controlled breathing. If you can time the movement of a flashlight going over you, make sure to hold your breath until the light is no longer on you. Then, very slowly release your breath and continue to breathe slowly and very controlled.

lol. I used the ''deer crossing the road'' example, just now... hogs come from the ''pig from hell'' the Apex predator of its time... so they mostly act like wolves like we do[in packs]... we ARE fear... lol

I got to tell you that it's nice to see something about camo because there's too many people that keep talking about being The Gray Man and that's fine if you're walking along a city street or in the suburbs but I like having camo pattern items so I can disappear in the woods
@MasterK9Trainer
@MasterK9Trainer 7 ай бұрын
@@Nyeupe-Nguvu my thought on The Gray Man issue is that if people are in a real Panic then anybody with a backpack is a Target and even a young woman walking with a little purse might have that stolen because people want her money or they might want the keys to her car. So I feel if you want to be prepared then just be prepared and put on your clothes and put on your pack and do what you got to do

Extent video 👍 For the woods I always go with shades of brown. Once you get in everything is brown year round the dead leaves on the ground the trees, branches ex… Only the tree tops are green or coloured. Trees make great back stops to hide movement and break you shape. I only have one Gilly suit so I got it in light brown which is my least favourite looking but can hide anywhere in the woods or along the edge just get behind the bright green and you disappear into the background. And even in the snow you will still see little brown bushes and trees sticking up through the snow so you can still blend in if you are absolutely still. And the tree trunks are still brown so leaning against one will make you blend in

At the 5:30 mark I paused and looked for you. I was about 80% sure I knew where you were and sure enough I was right. It was more of the shadowy patch was the more likely spot for you and because I knew you were going to be somewhere in frame. Without that context there is no way I would have just stopped and said yup he is there.

G'day Jason.! We played hide & seek with the twins when they were ten years old, they were very good at it that it freaked out their dad, thinking that they've got taken which in turn scared the living daylight out of me. They were just looking for a private area to pee. Ever since that day, we with the help of their grandparents got them trained to be aware, always diligent & study their surroundings for any possibilities. Now they are all grown up & got so good that we don't see them for months. They've flown the coop, but they do come home quarterly to spend time with their dad & mum's home cooked vegan meal. The twins are vegetarian & the oldest is vegan. Hubby & I am carnivores.! Just like you, they love the outdoors camping, trekking & bushcrafting. With current global situation, we want our children to be self-sufficient, good people but whenever the situation arises, they can be Dangerous. Cheers from Australia.

Movement is most important. Lots of time I would have never seen a wild animal if they had not moved. I wish camo was made to look like dead leaves on the ground instead of so much like living vegetation. One of those inner tubes in camo pouch work good. Every tree I would pick out to sit at would either have brush growing up right where I want to sit, or some rough rocks.Got to where I carry pruning shears hunting.

If you don't have a pair of camouflage gloves handy you could use dirt or ash from a campfire to rub on the backs of your hands but rub it in to where it's not solid black just enough to dull the reflective nature of your skin on the backs of your hands what is your opinion on that Jason ?

how many times have we seen a deer crossing a dirt road and freezing when spotting us and we thought ''why doesn't run?... is it stupid?...'' no!... the deer doesn't know what a road is... the deer knows that is in the woods... and by standing still is ''hiding''... first line of defense, if you move to a threatening direction it will run... if you move the other way [slowly] it will wait until you're gone, and it will keep on going where ever was going to...
