My grandfather died in in 1996, but I remember few of the things he told in relation to Netaji. 1) He was alive after independence and was in Awadh. 2) Credibility of Netaji was so much that during his fund raising, women will donate their gold jewellery that they rarely parted with anyone. 3) The Bengal Famine of 1943 was planned to stop advance of INA.

Netaji Subhash Bose wouldn't have come out and revealed even if he wanted to because the British would wrongly charge him for the revolt. British and American forces after WW2 had given innumerable punishments to Japanese soldiers and others from the Axis Powers. So it was beneficial to be in disguise. You should watch the movies on Subjash Bose as well. (If you haven't already) you'll get a better idea. And the government and IB knew about it. 1. Subhash : The Forgotten Hero 2. Bose: Dead/Alive 3. Gumnami : A movie on Bose Also, whenever there is a video on Subhash Bose, the comment section is filled with people who are related with INA who tell the bravery and valour of Bose. Some of them also tell that their grandparents had met Gumnami Baba and he would talk about the INA.

I think the government will never announce it publically, be it any. They'll just declassify more and more documents or information about S.C. Bose or the INA (Through RTIs or Commissions). More information will be of before 1945. But some documents after 1947 can also be released. Because think it that way, common people are not aware what IB and RAW does and how they do it. These things are highly secretive. Possibly, the Subhash Bose secret is India's best kept secret! Rest everything depends on how people believe it. If we see the movies made on Netaji, the kind of man that he was, he could definitely be disguised as Gumnami Baba. If you haven't watched the movies, I would recommend you to watch them and then the belief would be even stronger. 1. Bose : The forgotten Hero 2. Bose: Dead/Alive 3. Gumnami: A movie on Bose Earlier I used to believe that these are just rumours but after I have watched the movies on Bose, it has turned into a strong belief. Whenever there's a video on Bose, people in the comments tell that their grandparents were in touch with Gumnami Baba or Bose and he would write/speak about the INA or the changing world order.
