Sora doesnt actaully beat Xemnas in KH1.He just gains his attention,hence wihy he says "This will be interesting"

Final mix was released the exact same yr vanilla came out. In fact it's a few months younger than the International versions of kh meaning we were close to getting final mix without any of the OG versions and the Xemnas fight could've been recorded and available to us.

It's not. It might have some similarities, but that's because both Disappeared and Darkness of the Unknown are Xemnas's themes

Disappeared isn’t Darkness of the Unknown, but there are some leitmotifs shared between the two songs, namely some of the piano and violin segments.
