I’m not into the Borders , did have a go with them for 3 seasons but they didn’t want to play ball so moved them on - having said that I’m really gutted for you know how hard it is with Borders are to breed the trauma of the vibrations you can’t imagine what the birds were going through. Keep going and you’ll have some by May 👍

Hey Graham. Yes, they can be tricky but that’s part of the appeal. Well at least at the moment it is!! 🤣🤞

It’s very obvious your a very committed genuine border man it kills me to see these un controlled situations stick with it you’ll come out on top good luck
Sorry for what happened with the noise Andy such a shame when something like that happens, you’re birds will soon go down again give them a week and put the nests back in again.

Thanks Eric. It’s very frustrating and I just hope the birds settle down again quickly 👍👍

Unfortunately, I can hear it loud and clear. It's the adult version of the local boys kicking a ball off the shed wall.

That's typical Andy, just as the birds settle down to breed, and the noise/disturbance starts, I hope they go back down again soon, enjoyed listening to the cock birds singing their heads off at the end of your video! Look forward to seeing your next episode. Good luck mate. 📹👍😎. Mark.

Thanks Mark. I didn’t know if I should leave the birds singing in or not!! Glad you enjoyed it!! Hopefully they’ll sort themselves out again soon 🤞🤞

Andy, sorry about the noise and work around your shed gutting. Its the vibrations that scares the birds off the nest. Its natural their instinct to survive. They should settle down in a couple days and get on with breeding. To answer your question around the buff hen who totally left her nest, I normally wait 7 days and then start to re-introduce the cock-bird. Take care mate. Things will come together mate.

Hey Victor. The birds have started to settle a little the last 2 days so hopefully they’ll be ok. Thank you for your message 👍

What colors can you get from green cock blue hen? Thanks
@bordercorner7 ай бұрын
As the blue is an allied colour, I think that means you could get greens, blues, whites and white variegated’s. There is always a possibility that if there was a yellow feathered bird not too far back in their breeding, you might even get some yellow feathered variegateds
