Kathleen! That dense Sephora pro brush, try holding it towards the end and ONLY using pressing motions with your foundation. No swiping or swirling or anything. I work at Sephora and our beauty educator showed us how to use that brush and when I used it the way she said it actually looked really nice! Just a thought :)

on the Sephora pro brush you bought, I had the same issue but spoke to an artist who uses the same brush and said you were supposed to dab the brush into the skin like a beauty blender (and to work in portions) than to buff it into the skin or like a flat foundation brush you paint onto the skin. hope this helps!

Have the matte lip plumper and both Tartelette palettes and I agree with both opinions!! The lip plumper stings INTENSELY and the normal Tartelette palette shades are just really chalky and hard to blend... Glad you're giving honest opinions Kathleen, you're the best!

Yepp. Mine is horrible too. I was so disappointed too because it was a total waste of money. I seriously have wet n wild eyeshadows that blend better than those. lol If some people do like theirs and did not have issues with blending, then Tart definitely needs to work on keeping the formula consistent with every single batch/palette.

you can go to a dermatologist and they can get rid of them with a lancet. some aestheticians (depending on what state you live in) can get rid of them too with a lancet. milia doesn't have a pore so if you try to pop them on your own you will only tear and scar your skin!

I get them on my forehead sometimes and I use a lancet to remove them myself. I've been doing it for years so I'm not worried about a professional doing it because it works for me just fine but I'd consult a derm first if you've never used one before.

Hi Kathleen, I use the burberry fresh glow nude radiance too. it may not work that well alone. but try using it mixed in to your foundation. I love the texture and the consistency that it gives my foundation. specially when I use nars or Mac foundations and want to reduce the amount I pack on to my face. with love, Veen

A lot of the time when it says "unscented" it actually has fragrance in it to make it not smell like chemically materials which would be the actual smell. You want to look for things that says "fragrance free" and then it truly will but it will have not a pleasant smell but that's the life us sensitive skin girls have to live. I love the Body Shop Aloe line because it's heaven to sensitive dry skin so I recommend you try that out!

Someone probably already mentioned this, but the #66 Sephora brush is not meant to be used like a normal brush. I've used it (and have it) and it's still not my favorite, but besides having a Beauty Blender shape, you actually bounce it like a BB too. In a way I do feel like, well, why not just use a BB ? But pressing and lifting it in a stippling motion gives you MUCH better results than buffing or using it like a normal brush. That being said, I prefer the smaller version of the same brush for that precision work you mentioned.

The Sephora 66 brush is meant to be used to tap foundation on, not buff on like a typical foundation brush. Think of it as a Beauty Blender in brush form. Tap, tap, tap, girl!

I had to return my tartelette pallet from Sephora. I tested the Sephora display versus one at Ulta. I think Sephora got a bad batch because the palette I purchased at Ultra was buttery. I love it.

I have the Tarte Tartelette (regular one) and I bought it because of the colors, I overall love the colors but the pigmentation is not good, so to answer your question:no, u didn't get a bad Tartelette mine is just the same the color colors super mom and free spirit are probably the worst, their not white at all, and they ARE SO HARD TO BLEND, I feel like it would take a REALLY DENSE brush to blend them really well, I'm overall disappointed in my purchase of the Tartelette.....

when I got the tartlette palette, I loved it. (I still do but I'll get to that part) I used it a LOT for about a month. then suddenly it started smelly funny. Not even funny, it smelled bad. Like a gross, clay dirt smell. every time I used it I would almost gag it smelled so bad. I was using this palette whether I put the shadows on the eye, or I just used the mirror. I emailed them and they sent me a new one, and I've had no problems with it at all, shadow wise or smell wise!

I have the regular tartlette pallet and I love it. I think they blend pretty well when I'm working with it, but I could be wrong since I'm not sure what is considered 'easy blending' lol. Really want to try the other one though!

I use to think I liked the regular tartelette palette.... until I bought the in bloom. the formula is waaaaayyyy different! it's not just yours! the formula in the regular one is really stiff and hard to blend

I have that original Tarte Tartelette palette and I love it, it seems to blend really well on me. Do you use a tacky primer? I'm using it over the smashbox eye primer, which doesn't grab as mush as ones like the Urban Decay primer potion.

The in bloom is great. Only 1 darker matte color that is a little bit harder to blend, but only slightly!! Think of it this way.... This is a newer palette and typically brands improve their formulas over time sooo, it's worked great for me. I love it!

I figured Nivea would pop out a "women's" face primer once they noticed how popular that shave balm was becoming. And surprise, surprise, just as expected, it's in a much smaller jar and likely 2x the price of that big shave balm. So predictable. I'm going tomorrow to buy 2 of the shave balms before the reformulate it or jack up the price. if they haven't already.

Kathleen!!!!!!! dont know if anyone else told you this or anything!!!!! but the burberry blushes actually have a fair amount of product in them! they have 0.24 oz which is actually pretty decent. nars is at 0.16, hourglass at 0.15, or even the MUFE hd blushes with 0.09 (yikes)! comparable sizes are too faced at 0.21 and urban decay at 0.23 (obvi there are way more blushes lol but thought i would include the few that i checked). so i guess its more the packaging than the actual blush size itself! thought itd be good for people to understand that its actually not a bad amount of product! :) (this was just informative for ppl thats all)

I have the same experience with the older edition of tartelette as well!!! I have tried it with a couple of different brushes, but I still find it hard to blend. You really have to pick up a lot of products for the colour to show, but if you accidentally grab too much, it is difficult to fix. I think it would be great to use it as a base, but it's hard to create a dramatic but nuanced look without getting messy.

That ita brush is a joke, I worked with NARS products in a previous makeup counter job and I found all their brushes, scratchy and shed really bad. The hype for the ita brush is just that - hype! Loved this video X

Kathleen, the vivid matte liquid lipsticks work if you don't put on too much product! A lot of people have been complaining that they don't dry matte. That's only because they are using it incorrectly. You have to wait for it to dry after only 1 layer. It'll never dry if you keep piling on product.
