Disassembling Samsung robotic vacuum cleaner

Disassembling the Samsung SR8751 robot vacuum cleaner, to detach one of the power contacts. Because of an old battery, that contact began to heat, and after a while it melt plastic around it. Since plastic holder had been deformed, the robot was unable to charge properly. Therefore I had to bend the contact plate - and voila! - it is charging again.

I fixed one for a friend. It would reverse out and then stop. I guessed that the problem was with a front bump switch. I opened it up and sure enough one of the transparent arms that operates a front bump switch was stuck in. I operated it manually and it freed up. I put it back together again and it ran for a few minutes and then had the same problem. I opened it up again and operated the switch and blew dust out and wriggled it a bit and it was a bit more free. I put it back together again and ran it for a while and it has been ok. To access the bump switches you only have to remove the two screws at the front-bottom, remove the inserts in the screw holes, and the front bumper pulls off towards the front. As it was a few years old I got a new battery for it, as it also wouldn't charge.
