Well this video was a lifesaver. Learning that it didn't follow the "Rightie-tightie, Leftie-loosie rule saved my Twsbi Go when it accidentally came apart, and I couldn't seem to get it back together.

You're so entertaining and I'm so thankful I found your site today! I could not remove the clear plastic tube holding the rubber. I tried pushing it with a paper clip but it is wedged in there for life. Nina, Waving from Toronto .

The piston had gotten stiff on my 3-year-okd GO. Thanks so much for this video! Perfect disassembly instructions. And angled eyebrow tweezers work great instead if the conid tool. Also on the cap that holds the spring on there are small notches under the rim. You can hook a tool into these if the cap is too tight. Or if you have arthritis like I do.

Yea! The disassembly line is back! I’ve learned so much, and gained so much confidence watching these. Thanks.

One of the best pen i have. Easy to refill, easy to (dis)assemble and clean. The process of it is actually quite fun, too! This pen literally makes me lazy. It makes me somehow complain when cleaning other pens

Thank you Mr. Brown for this video series. I recently had to disassemble a Sheaffer Prelude and your video was of immense help.

after You unscrew the back notch and push the piston all the way inside, You can use the normal TWSBi metal wrench in a "perpendicular" modus, and magically it works as a screw like Your pin improv. Nice video, pleas keep making them.

After I had Emerald of Chivor in my Go, and was trying to clean it, I figured their had to be a way to disassemble the thing (lesson learned...save that for pens easier to disassemble). Thanks!

Thanks Hamish! Very good video though I was slightly disappointed by the lack of posting the cap and barrel for easy storage during this particular disassembly but other than that it was very useful apart from the fact I don't even own a TWSBI Go.

A metal TWSBI wrench will work to remove the piston if held diagonally, straddling the piston rod.

So will the plastic one that comes with the Eco (well, I pushed the piston in after I unscrewed the plastic part and held perpendicular)

I found out that using stainless steel tweezers with an angled tip works just as well as the Conid tool. Simply align the prongs to the holes and unscrew the ring.

Would the tool that comes with the TWSBI Eco work?
@arisamomoka27654 жыл бұрын
Even without it you can easily disassemble it. The metal 'ring screw' that closes the pen have two holes that helps you to unscrew it and it's not that tight so you can unscrew it by pushing from the small hole with pencil/pen (or something strong with tiny enough point that won't easily break). In my case i use tweezers. So unscrew it by pushing, do it 1-2 times and the rest you can do it ny hands. I do this all the time. Hope it helps!

With the spring removed I used a pair of 8 inch pliers to grab the 1mm thick ring and turned the body clockwise. Be sure to only grab the ring as pinching the plastic threads may crush them.
