Some tiny little stuff in there! It was good to see it is assembled very well and lubed up decent from the factory. The did a really good job on make this look as close to the real thing as possible. Good to see all the tedious tinkering paid off and it went right up the hill this time!

The spider gears in the diff are tiny its like mini z, I think even tinier than the one ive seen in the losi 1/32 micros. Thanks Addam!

I use a $20 microphone stand with a phone cradle attached to it for my overheads . They are very tall and adjustable . For my DSLR I have motorized 360 pan and tilt mount , but the tripod its on is big and not good for close quarters . When these are on sale they aren't too bad , considering the quality and detail . Nice work with the mods , not to many even attempt to open these . I like the 100K stuff , Its a bit tight /stiff for some diffs , but ok after a break in usually . Looks like it was worth the effort , big improvement and drives like it should now .

Interesting….the overhead microphone stand I think is the route I will try next time I change things up. Yes the diff tighten made it work so well it was a bit less fun, watching it struggle I think added to the smiles, I will have to find harder terrain now 😁

@@rexrcsYah buddy time for a new challenge for the bug . I looked into booms and clamp arms and all were kinda expensive and had some type of limitations . Mic stands are very common so they are inexpensive . They use a standard 3/8-16 thread Some 5/8 . Some have 1/4-20 adaptors with them . More complicated than I thought. Will that diff oil stay in there? I thought it was going to be more modular, easier to take apart. But great results!

Yes, certainly not modular, but it was a refreshing change from the typical cookie cutter rc’s Ive been playing with. Thanks for stopping in!! Glad you caught video being one of the guys I uploaded it for 👌

Its almost too capable now! I need to find harder terrain but that shouldnt be hard. The entire video was shot using my iphone 14 pro

It really is… one of a few factors that keep me from recommending these 130 motor sized rc’s…..they use gearing to compensate for everything and that makes them annoying in a quiet environment
