Really impressed with some of the vehicles FMS has been producing recently. Thank you for the review on this RC Bug, you always give us the most detailed and inclusive reviews, which for perspective buyers or RC nuts like so many of us is everything we could ask for. It looks fantastic, and if you are into scale, it seems a lot of the recent FMS drops will be right up your ally. A lot of effort goes into making scale, usually requiring trade-offs. Perhaps adding something that gives a more realistic look, can weaken the vehicle, or in some way make it less functional. So, it all depends on what you want from your RC. Me, I like to bash and crawl, so parts on my my RCs get broken regularly, making this bug unlikely to last long in my collection. It would be be great to use them for driving an LMT over, though, make some awesome realistic video! Thank you, once again, RC Review Team!!

I bought the previous version a month ago, planning to turn it into a civil version. And now they release this! 😂 Will have the fun of moding it. What driver is that? Very cool! :D

I have a 67. I call the doors “friction fit”, because the doors start rubbing the door frames, long before they latch 😮

That is an early Vision from a Beetle,it hasn t signal lights,the driver had to shown with hands where he want s to go or he mounted,we called it winker in Germany on his car..

Kommandeurwagen was the right thing with 4WD and Portals in the rear, but this one should only have RWD without portals like all civil Beetle had it.

I have a 1/12 figure in my Kommandeurwagen so no doubt will fit in this version. The seat cushion gives just enough but it's a slightly tight fit. Modding the seat slightly would offer more realistic headroom.

Cute little car always did like the VW bugs. If FMS was going for scale it should have never been 4wd. I was digging it until you put it in 2wd & the rear lifted when the throttle was applied, when it should have squatted.

Yes, they unscrew from a threaded post in the hub.
