What's even better than boats? Underwater boats of course! And flying boats but sadly, those only exists in animes. EDIT: And in this video apparently XD I don't know if I already told you, but you can visit the submarine reproduction that was used in the movie Das Boot in Bavaria Filmstadt. It's quite immersive.

It's probably an Oberon-class sub. Diesel-electric, not nuclear. Stern torpedo tubes were pretty much a thing of the past by the time they entered service. British in origin; class was also operated at various times between 1960 and 2000 by Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Chile. A few are preserved in various places. Could possibly be one of the preceding Porpoise class...the two classes look extremely similar and I'm not sure how you'd distinguish between them. But probably Oberon-class.

I was actually lucky enough to be able to go aboard a submarine in Arkansas (she's out of service) called the USS Razorback. This submarine looks a lot like her, but then again I'm pretty sure most submarines look like that, so...yeah. Just a fun story.

Silent Hunter was a great seriers, unfortunatly it is just too broken too play. How Spammals managed to get so far into the game amazes me, I could hardly move around the sub, never mind actually playing the game!
