Billy Burke went to my old church yearly... my daughter's water broke at 18 weeks pregnant and I called his ministry, let them know the church I went to and asked for prayer. The nice lady prayed with me that night and by the time I got back home a few days later, I had a letter from them. I thought it was going to be an inquiry about my prayer request but it was a request for a donation and his news letter. I got one after another of those donation requests multiple times a month but they NEVER called or wrote to ask about my daughter or granddaughter... never. I was already having a problem with these "ministries" and the Lord was bringing me out of that culture (bless the Lord) but this was a confirmation to me of the true motives. So sad, so tragic for the people whose faith has been shaken or worse.

A dear lady in our church had colon cancer; it was treatable with chemo, but she was 'healed' after a visiting WOF (wolf) evangelist came and prayed for her....she died about 9 months later still believing for her healing. Yet, our pastor's wife, when diagnosed with breast cancer had chemo and a removal of part of her breast!! And that visiting evangelist was her brother! I have so many stories but I do remember this incident... I one time I got a hairline fracture In my ankle.. I was in pain so they prayed for me for my ankle to be healed. Needless to say they prayed for me and my ankle several times and I was never healed. I did tell them I was better because I was discouraged that prayer wasn't working. I myself really can't believe in all this Jesus related stuff anymore. Even though I was separated from my wife (we were going to get back together), I prayed every single day for her to be healthy so we can be a family again. She ultimately died a slow painful death. Five months later I lost my son of twenty three in a fatal accident (I even prayed for God to send an angel to watch over and protect him). I just can't follow any religion that promises to deliver but nothing happens. If God is all knowing by the way He doesn't), He would have healed my wife, protected my son, and we'd be a family again.

Dude, this guy (Billy Burke) was INVITED to my childhood church, a lot! He’s EXACTLY like Benny Hinn. They removed a man who I believe had cerebral palsy from the line and told him to “return to your seat and pray for your healing.” This man was a member of the church. I never saw him again after that. It angers me thinking about it. I pray for that man.

Still blind in that eye. Another also had cerebral palsy, but he could walk on crutches, he just recently passed away, still having cerebral palsy to the day of his passing. Never produced any of the proof to the media in which he promised. You know how many botched “healings” I have witnessed? I attended this church for 20 years! I walked those hallways weeks after those meetings seeing people who were still afflicted! Again. If you have verified proof from a doctor, please, send it.

It's the people to blame. I grew up in a pentecostal movement which has these same types of nonsense. But I got up one day and never went back to church. Now Jesus and I talk to each other every day. I serve him home. I am convinced that Jesus is the only way there's no other. But these money gods will stand before him in dread. I went to what I thought was a Christian parenting class last night. Nah they just wanted to tell me how they knew of people with autism that were healed of it and I shouldn't just accept that generational curse over my son like that. I left pissed. I was in a UPC church from age 10-15 and word of faith after that. Many of my friends got disillusioned with Christianity and mad at God. I applaud you, because I went and lived like a heathen after our UPC church split because of pastoral pride and overreach. I KNEW that I had felt the Lord's presence and knew he was real. So, I knew that my friends who used this church split as an excuse to turn their backs on Jesus. They must have never known him.

God says be still and know that I am God, He also speaks in a still small voice. One of my favorite hymns is "Tell me the stories of Jesus, write on my heart every word etc. Keep looking up, God is a big God and he loves you. I’m SO LIVID! So very OUTRAGED! How do these despicable people sleep at night? Show their face in PUBLIC??!!! I can barely watch this. I’ve been in this horrific position where I’ve stood in line so, so VERY ILL, I couldn’t stand. My sister stood beside me. I truly have a warning and story to tell, when it’s time, I will. Just thinking about it brings much trauma and I’m a very strong woman. When I got to the preacher, I couldn’t talk from being tormented with illness, my sister spoke my situation and condition to the minister. He just laid hands on me, said 3 words and walked off!!!!! This didn’t happen once in this 8 year ordeal and I left the Charismatic movement in 2011-2012, yet, out of desperation I returned in 2017. I’m free now from it after our Lord sharing and teaching me much and I went to Bible college, too in 1997 and was still deceived. I’m a lover and a protector of the Word of God.
