Jason is a great human being. So glad you had him on. Just to back up what you said, FEMA denied us the $750, and insurance didn’t cover our food losses. We lost several freezers full of meat, garden produce, etc. We spent days on end chain sawing out and almost two weeks without power, and couldn’t even get a lousy $750. After being on hold for hours, and hung up on, we decided it wasn’t even worth it.

My homeowner's insurance sent a dude up to my cabin unannounced. I was on crutches at the time I almost pulled on the guy I bet my insurance would have gone up LOL

Auto, commercial, home and farm are so different. There is a huge miscommunication between agents and appraisers. It's like here ya go you are good and customers don't know... there is more out there. I have worked with an investigator in AR, that's is his whole business. It is insane how people pay out of pocket and don't let insurance negotiate.

Have pictures PRIOR to a disaster and store them on an external hard drive of EVERY SINGLE THING you own! Put that hard drive in a fire PROOF safe! ONLY allow your Insurance Company on your property, PERIOD! I have NEVER (one claim Hurricane Isabel) had a problem with Farm Bureau 🤷🏼‍♀️🙌🏻

Insurance policy n Kentucky is no different. Their written policies are the worst I’ve ever viewed. They literally cover nothing and the deductible is high.

Last time I filed an insurance claim I gave up after 3 months when they keep telling me to get more or different paperwork.

They want you to give up. If your state has a department of insurance, that's who you make a complaint to.

I do reconstruction and my bosses bought a servo pro like 1.5 yrs ago all ins work. Its insane how this ins work goes. What they cover and dont what happened in WNC area sorry f ins. They should get help or something if u aint in flood zone why would u get it? Who can afford to get flood fire amd ect ect....??? Its a sad world were in for sure. I pray for wnc folks everydaay eap the weather were having.

Trying to get prescription filled by Medicare Insurance for medical equipment, two type walkers, for after surgery. One local medical equipment place gave my doctor the specs to be answered before medicare would deliberate and maybe fill prescription. Doctor cooperated. Medical equipment place said it was not cooperation, and wasn't enough. Doctor office said they personally use another medical equipment company, one that goes around medicare for everyone and gets everything they need. Insurance, even federal Medicare is a joke. By the way, in the meantime? I went to a non-profit and to a thrift store and found everything I was told to get, for little or no cost. I am equipped for very soon surgery, and Medicare is still playing around.

DELAY, DENY, DEFEND rings TRUE with any insurance claim.. Mountain City Tennessee, homes were torn apart and rain washed away just about any structure. The Home policy cried National Disaster and denied any claim to replace their home.. In my experience, the insurance cries FRAUD and sends out a special investigator (employee/Instructor) to make excuses to refuse any fair P/D settlement.. Insurance will lobby to get laws that favor the financial sector and shield insurance from unfair practices. (Cargo Insurance when you are BULL SHIPPING or other livestock transport)
