Disaster on the Enola Low Grade Line - This Explore Ended In A Train Wreck!

It's time for another rails to trails explore. We visit the Enola Low Grade Trail. This is a great biking trail and we will return with bikes in the future. The views of the Susquehanna River are breathtaking.
In 1981 just two days before Christmas a Conrail train pulling 82 freight cars impacted a large boulder that had fallen from the cliff side. We'll see if any debris remains. #enolalowgrade #susquehannariver #safeharbordam #dronevideo

The tall poles have power. The old catwnary ones look like they've been removed. Qe chacjed out the Safe Harbor side last year. Really awesome and has neat signs made from the cat poles.

Let me know whe you want to ride bikes there. If I'm not on call, Il go. This weekend would have been perfect weather for that . 3 miles isn't bad. It's the 6 total that would kill me.

Absolutely. I have to get a bike rack that will handle all of our bikes at once including the electric bike.

@@DaltonDroneZone I can always meet you at your place and throw a few in truck.( where mine will be) I havevto bring wayer. A lot of the trail is in the sun. When we wete there, a couple had to ride back and were out of water. They need a refreshment stand and a GG1 on a track. ( There's a couple rotting away in NY that should be saved).
