I hit a tree, and the Avata 2 fell into thick woods. I was unable to get through Woods' first day, although I could hear it. (Then battery died) I connected the Goggles to my phone. Opened the FLY App and selected "find my drone." Followed the map and found it

In 1974 I worked there as an aide in the Towerview building . I never saw or heard of any abuse. There were 3 main buildings. One for the mental health, one for the mentally retarded (old terminology) and one for the severally retarded patients that couldn't move or feed themselves. They were still using ECT (electric shock therapy). Under the Carter administration, state hospitals were being phased out.

Thank you for sharing this video. The school is being demolished now. I attended that school during its last years and it’s nice to be able to watch your video and remember. From what I remember, the room you mentioned may be a teachers lounge was used for In School Suspension. The gym also doubled as our cafeteria.

Thank you for the information. It was a really interesting building to explore. We realized as we were walking through those halls that there must have been hundreds upon hundreds of memories made over all those years. It’s a shame the building couldn’t be saved.

Letting a "little tike" fly your drone isn't being an ambassador for the hobby. It's the kind of thing that makes the FAA put ever increasing scrutiny on us and makes it harder for all of us, especially those who make a living at it. Please, flyers out there... don't be "that guy."

When I was around 14 years old (1964) I walked the tunnel a few times with some friends. Two of those walks a train came through. The trains were commuter trains that ran often throughout the day. The walls of the tunnel were not smooth and had depressions in them and we would stand with our backs against the wall while the train came through. We were kids and didn't care about the danger. Walking the tunnel was a challenge of courage. Thanks for bringing back a memory I had completely forgotten.
