Miraculously found you guys while I’m starting my laser journey, no knowledge, teaching myself but excited for the possibilities! You are inspiring and I can’t wait to see more from you! The sign turned out amazing by the way.

Love your video's! FYI, use laser safety glasses whenever you have the passthrough door open. It is not worth losing your sight over a side hustle. This is serious stuff, even a pet walking into your shop is at risk. It is not so much the direct beam as much as scattered reflection. A local kid that was in our scout troop years ago is blind in one eye from a flash when his dad was playing with a cheap 40watt desktop model.

1:48 I worked as a Maintenance Manager for a large Semiconductor manufacturer. We had multi million dollar machines and ran into the same issues with Japanese equipment makers. They make a slight and insignificant change to a power supply and label it proprietary and you cannot second source it because of that. There are plenty of second source repair houses in the US and Europe who can reverse engineer and repair the subassemblies. I think I need to start putting a list together for the laser community.

Love the sign and enjoy seeing you guys learn and interact with each other. Great video. I will be watching all of your videos. Your videos are entertaining and instructional. There is always something to learn and yes repetition helps a bunch. I am looking forward to getting a large machine with a lot more power. 24 x 40 100w would be superb. Also, a 60w Galvo laser and IR laser and well you get the point. lol

I really enjoy the way yall film your videos! It's like I'm watching an HGTV show with the cuts to the commentary and behind the scenes.

So were you using the print and cut feature in lightburn to align the registration marks?
@LocalStature18 күн бұрын
Yep! I will be honest though, I would have to sit and do it again to remember the steps.

You should add the specs to the equipment (laser) in the description of your video... People look for specific lasers to see how others navigate the challenges presented cause they own that laser.

My reaction from The Netherlands, you are not dumm. In fact while watching the video's you posted and will watch them all i thought Why are you not make a sort of tutorial for other beginners while you are on your advanture of learning. Also the sjablone with precut holes in carbord is practical solution. I mostly do that also cause it's way more precise then messure it out. Go post more video's i subscribt. (excuse bad english grammar ;) )
