Poor guy, I hope you heal fast. Twelve years ago I fell in my back garden. My left elbow hit the top of a cast iron bistro chair. Nothing got broke but my left elbow was dislocated and tore all the tendons and arteries. Initially the doctors though I would lose my arm, but a neurosurgeon specialist in sports injuries was able to put my left arm back together. I have an ugly scar but I have full use of my arm to date. I am forever grateful. Sending you healing karma. You are a trooper.❤

Ouch Peter that sounds really nasty. It was a nasty brake but a while ago and I’ve healed up well. We couldn’t put the video up for a while because the pool was covered by Chateau DIY but that means you can see the progress we’ve made seen in a couple of weeks! X

Thanks, it was a little while now since the accident and I healed up well. I couldn't post the video back then because we had to wait until the episode of Chateau DIY aired in the UK. It does mean the next update on this project will be coming very soon.

Sorry about your wrist, I know how much it hurts. I passed out several years ago falling and breaking my wrist. I had to have surgery also to put a plate in to stabilize my broken bones. Pain medicine helps but doesn't get rid of all the pain. Hugs, Kathy USA 🇺🇸

Place "Safety Caps" over the tops of your rebar just in case someone or something were to fall into your pool pit. While they won't stop a bruise & pain and they will help stop a fatality. ❤️🙏 c: Senator Josh Hawley Section 230 Committees

Those two walls will be higher but we ended up doing them all two thick in the end stay tuned for the next video on our progress since……

Me again! My last comment was before I saw your accident.. I can commiserate I dropped a frozen leg of lamb on my foot a fortnight ago still can’t get a shoe on and it’s now turned black. Looks as if I haven’t washed it for months! I saw you working on the bathroom with the broken arm but didn’t realise you’d had the accident in the pit of despair.

Yes it made more sense to finish the bathroom project video before the pool even though both were running in parallel. Sorry to hear about your foot, that sounds really nasty and maybe get it checked out if it's not been getting better! xx

I’m confused, I thought you where doing a natural pond. Here they are holes lined with plastic, soil, rock and plants with some type of fountain or airfiltration system.

Yep this is the hole, the area around is the bedding area, we talk through the design a bit in the first video but it should become clearer in the next video too as it starts to take shape
