Disaster strikes my newly restored E34!

Some terribly bad luck yields some surprising successes in fixing other small issues on Project E34, my 1995 530i V8 with a 5-speed manual.
I also build a DIY smoke machine and identify intake manifold vacuum leaks and solve my pesky check engine light issues common on the M60 BMW V8.

Very nice job! I always thought the manifold had to come off. Good learning experience. While there, shine a light over the valley pan. These engines like to seep coolant when they hit 80-90,000 miles.

One of two Canadian HE13 in 309 Arktissilber metallic over Silbergrau Hell leather! Either GE54797 or GE54899. The third in the color combination is USA-version GE55700. In total 9 HE13 was painted 309 Arktissilber metallic with 5 having black leather and 1 Ultramarin blue leather :)

Rockauto but for harder to find oem stuff i go to ecs tuning or fcp euro, but those you need to pay extra import fees on

hey man cant believe you sold the E34, I was curious to know if you have a link to a article or video on how to replace the PCV valve because I'm stuck on how you removed the overflow tank, because I don't want to re bleed the whole system when removing it, PLZ LMK much appreciated. Love the videos btw

Hey Imtiaz, theres black plastic bolts on the side of the expansion tank, you unscrew them and fold the whole thing with the piping towards the drivers side. That gives you plenty of access to the back pcv plate. Good luck!
