I remember that route around Mt Shasta to Susannville. That is the way Scott and Terri drove last time. And I think Panda drove it also. It is a beautiful drive. Panda and you must have angels watching over you. You stopped in the right spot at the right time for a rescue. Thank goodness it was on the oil pump and not the engine.

I have traveled that road over to Susanville towards home in Ohio. I remember driving towards Truckee via Susanville and felt like I was driving through a train set because it was so scenic. The mountains around Reno are huge, but with 3x the oil pressure and slow-as-she-goes, you'll get there! This is one of those stories that a person tends to remember over time.
