Awww blimey! Newark Northgate....brings back horrible memories. Think it must be THE train station we all get stranded at!! I'm so glad l watched this vid. I have this silly romantic notion that one day (when our dear dog's no longer with us♡), we'll do loads of mid-week City breaks on LNER! Based on your journey, l think maybe we'd only venture as far as York. The thought of being stuck with my ol' man at Newark Northgate Station at 1am ain't worth thinking about!! 😱 I'm travelling from King's Cross (LNER) tomorrow. Wish me luck 🙏 (That Merlin is a star. Loved his paw coming into shot! Our Boy headbutts us for attention. He's so demanding!)

Hi Martin and Sharon what a nightmare a journey you had . So glad you eventually got home you must have been worn out . I bet the doggies were please to see you . I love your videos as I don’t get out . I have pain when walking ….. but I’ve just bought a pet pushchair for my indoor cat bright pink 😂. I think it hope that will get me out of the house it’s been 2 years . Il probably get a few funny looks but I don’t care . ​@@butlersempirewe fixed our dishwasher in October 2020 the drain pump had a very small piece of plastic in jamming the drain impellor it was a super simple repair and to this day it's still working fine, we just had to move the dishwasher onto it's side, take the bottom of the dishwasher off, untwist the drain pump remove the debris and put it back together. I'm glad you got back home tho

North Tenerife is pretty nice.. Amazing Island , Two different climates . North and south of the Island. Do the Masca Mountain road if renting a car. A great experience.

A really interesting video and things can go wrong on the railway! It looks like the Aberdeen to London train was given a special stop order for Newark Northgate and then they got a taxi from there. All worked out in the end.
