Remove the peg bolt in the gear linkage which tightens into the shaft! Get a 3/8 unf bolt taper the point of it not as sharp as the one you removed and put a nut on it. Tighten it down into the shaft and nip the nut up. The only job removing the slap.

Size of tyres should have no effect on 4wd pack as long as the ratio front to back is right. Id agree that the 4wd braking is hard on pack but its also hard on normal tyres. Ive the 4wd braking disengaged on all tractors.

i had 7618 as well created allot of problems sold it got 7726s best choice ever now 12000h not single problem just some sensors. from what 7618 has the most issues from the 76 series
