You sir are a legend. Scotland is brutally but beautiful in the Highlands. It's great that you're showing the trails too. Keep it going bud. Loving these posts.

It is unforgiving. if you go about 50 miles north, loch naver is a decent hike. but if you want a real test, alltnacaillach has some challenging peaks. or, you can instead follow the strathmore river, but you'll miss out on those stunning views, and a few other surprises along the way.

Great video I loved every minute the scenery is just breathtaking from the forrest to the Lochs and the Mountains. The 360 degree views form that top was fantastic . I was just worried about you getting back down before it went dark. It looked a really long way across that valley to the forrest and no trial, only from on the app. Looking forward to the next one Mate.

Lovin the education of history in these videos. I was at Bruce's Castle on Rathlin during July, it is just one wall and a window frame on a precipice 150 feet above the North Sea. Bruce's Cave below the Castle can only be accessed by boat. Rathlin is an absolute overlooked gem here in Northern Ireland, It's utterly brutal history of invasions and Scots settlers over the centuries, just adds to its mystique. Thanks for sharing this content. I am becoming a regular viewer from NI

I enjoyed the content of the video it's on of my favourite places to cycle canoe & or camp. When going over the hills on both sides of lochdoon every single dip and valley is extremely bogey even when you know exactly where you want to go sometimes the tiran can make you go off track an end up doing extra miles. Not the best place to be at night... the best information I have is that Robert the Bruce senior built the castle in the 13th century .I'll be watching more videos

Stumbled on your Channel, very funny guy, enjoyed your video. I see you're up the road in Leicester. I'm from Oban in the West Highlands, but live in Peterborough for my sins. I'm still a NEWBIE to the world of KZbin, but enjoying getting out when I can. Having been a wild-camper, hiker and bushcrafter since I was 21 (now 56), I can totally relate to the sense of FREEDOM just from being outdoors. Living down here where it's like a bloody billiard table, I try and get home to the Highlands as often as I can. Going to check out your other videos when I'm able, like the fact you seem to be just yourself, I like that. I'm that way myself, drives the Mrs nuts sometimes lol. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your video, anyone who loves Scotland is ok by me. Keep 'em comin'. All the best, Davey.

With your legendary land navigation skills you could have been an officer in any army in the world... 😁Never give the officer the map and compass at the same time as they get the wrong impression they know what's going on. Those 'false ridges' are also called military crests. Not so you can hide troops out of sight but because it drives soldiers mad thinking they are at the top and then there's more to climb! I can't recall ever walking downhill in a decade of military service....

I don't think that's Robert the Bruce stone. It's a memorial. I went there in the early 2000 and there's another track you walk down and the sign post for the stone. I'm a bit confused you saying that is the stone.

The West Coast of Scotland is better. Castle doughlas Gardens is stunning. Treave castle another lush spot. I'm enjoying your videos. You inspire me. Hope you get to do it full time.
