This has been an awesome project! Here are some ideas for your next upgrades. 1. A retractable bug screen for your door 2. mini air conditioner 3. Ceiling vent to vent out the hot air and humidity 4. Foot rests for your driver's seat.

Commenting before finishing vid but you should 100% fit some bug netting on the outside of the windows so you don't have to deal with unwanted friends during the night!

A little magnetic bug net frame for each window and a big removable one for the door would be cool!

I would suggest installing some little hooks near the entry hatch for the purpose of easily hanging your boots off the ground to discourage wildlife from crawling inside and allow them to dry/air out. Maybe underneath the chassis in case it rains/snows.

about 17min in, gonna comment while it's on my mind. Like someone before me said, add netting for bugs so you can open the window while cooking. some other ideas, a removable umbrella incase you need to drive during the rain. backup tire.a portable canopy and chair, so yo can chill outside but not be in the blazing heat. definitely insulation. some sort of rubber/plastic/vinyle seal over the wood so you can camp in the rain and no water gets in through the cracks. Great video.

Watching the entire build process of this camper was absolutely satisfying. The electric motors seem to have more pep than I thought, seemed like it was pulling it's own weight fairly well! Looking at the different iterations of campers you've built and comparing the size, this one is definitely the BIG CHEESE.
@lonewanderer7926Сағат бұрын
You definitely need to have a key start system for your camper to help cut down on anyone stealing it. Screens in your windows will help keep bugs out if you want to open them up for a breeze in the warmer months. My last suggestion would be for you to add some kind of driver canopy to protect yourself on rainy or snowy days and to keep the sun off of you on hot days. A fun addition would be to add one of those retractable cloth awnings over the door side of the camper so you can sit outside of it on a rainy day without getting drenched.

Loving that camera angle of the suspensions and wheels as you're zipping around. Great build man. Already can't wait for the next one

2 additions, insect nets over the windows from outside, and put easily mountable "legs" on the solar panel, so you can keep it facing the sun for aslong as possible.

It's crazy where it all started and how the camper looks now. Good job!
@ungabunga8074Сағат бұрын
You should add some pegs for your feet to go on. Also, you should try to do a small gas engine build next. I think you can actually do quite a bit with weed eater engines. Also, go cart engines can be obtained fairly cheaply I believe. I think a gas powered build would be even more reliable for an outdoor/survival/mobile mini house build.

Maybe you can add a footrest to the driving position, which would be more comfortable and look more integrated. I have that screen, too. I take it with me when I go camping. I bring some cables and I can project the screen from my phone onto the screen to watch some movies or TV shows.

That camper is getting better and better ! I have a 24ft enclosed trailer that I am going to turn the front portion into a solar generator. I'm going with 2 Renogy biracial solar panels and a solix battery pack that has a 220volt outlet for my house AC. I also have to power 2 refrigerators and a chest freezer.

Next upgrade you should do is make the entire frame from steel tubing and make it into a proper electric bike style camper that way you could go out on farther road trips

You'd be amazed how much added strength you get from compositing that steel tubing by cutting wood to fit and hammering it into the tubing. I built a pair of 60 ft beams using steel studs with 2x6's inserted into the cavity of the steel stud. 60 ft run with only 4 inches of deflection (sag) in the middle. It was for an inflated double poly film greenhouse.

Stage 3: Small AC unit??? Build a 5 layer solar array on the top that expands on heavy duty drawer slides. Panels will slide out forward, backwards, left, right and a stationary set on the top. That will give you 5 sets of panels to power your AC Unit. They will also act as a sun shade for around the entire vehicle while parked. Heck even the front one could act as a sun shade while driving if it's stable enough.

Half-way through the vid, and I think for the next minor upgrade you should make a screen for your windows so you can enjoy the breeze with the wee beasties! That or get a deployable bug net that you just unhook then drapes over the windows.

Good video, i still don't know why you didn't add foot pegs, and some fly nets, and also little roof coming off the cabin over where you sit to drive for some rain protection :) I'd also recommend making roof sloped again like you did in your last video, to give more rain protection and more longevity.

Cut to 2 years from now and the camper looks like the Rover from Batman Begins. lol Also, they do make Clear Primer for PVC pipes. The only reason for the purple is so inspectors can see that you remembered to prime the joint. Maybe a RV vent fan would be helpful, to get rid of excess moisture from cooking etc.

Loving it, its like an erector set for adults. You can have the motorcycle designation, but if we get technical on a state law level, it has more than 3 wheels so it's a car, however in some states there may be exemptions because of the nature of the open seat configuration, or perhaps the mono tire turning axle . _not that it matters_

Bass and other panfish aren’t active at night. You could bait up for catfish which are active at night but it’s not active fishing. Hypothetically you could set up a pole with catfish bait and throw out a line and have it set to alert you when you get a bite.
