It is Thailand. I travel with a motorcycle. As long as you stay away from Bangkok and Pattaya , you can have great authentic trip.

So glad I’m not the only one who hated SQ business class bed! Hard as a rock

Do you think DeltaOne’s is superior?
@whitneywastesawayКүн бұрын
@ couldn’t say, I haven’t tried delta one. But Cathay Pacific, united polaris, virgin A350 upper class, Condor A330neo, BA club suite, China Airlines, and QSuite were all more comfortable IMO.

Always enjoy trip report from you guys, especially international trips. Appreciate all the details, reviews and tips on logistics and the local experience. Learned something new today about beef in Thailand. I only visited Koi Samui, never heard of the beef they use is water buffalo! Oh and Thailand is about to go mainstream as it’ll be featured in the new season of White Lotus! Have you guys tried the Four Seasons there? Would love to hear about it if you have stayed there.
@20minutetravelКүн бұрын
I haven't tried the Four Seasons. In fact haven't been to Koi Samui. Pretty much everywhere else around it but not there. Need to go. Phuket is off my list now after not loving it last time.

Thoroughly enjoyed this extended review of my favorite SE Asia itinerary. Couldn’t agree more on the SQ Biz seats.. more comfortable sleeping sitting up, but hard to beat the soft product, on board food and SilverKrys lounge. One way tickets definitely the way to book Asia trips! For anyone short on miles for full redemption and willing to pay $2100 for cash and miles round trip Biz class… Starlux Business class for some reason is cheaper flying out of BKK coming back to US at $2100. I’ve done SQ Business redemption US to SE Asia and Starlux Business from BKK to US paying $2100. The Starlux seats are night and day incredibly comfortable with soft product on par with SQ…
@20minutetravelКүн бұрын
Starlux at that price is a deal. Really loved everything about that airline.

Mark, Apparently, you didn’t “hit” up “Nana Plaza”! Worse than Las Vegas. Shawn, I asked at the JW about NY Steakhouse, all beef sourced from Australia, Wyoming, or Japan. McDonalds and Burger King sourced from Australia under franchise regulations. Now, “Ahmed’s burger’s” next to Burger King or maybe “Burger Queen” near Soi Cowboy may use water buffalo. Buyer beware.
@20minutetravelКүн бұрын
Yeah I should have said that. McDonald's tasted like McDonald's. It's just a shock people have when getting beef there. It's sort of sad because water buffalo just doesn't have the taste. It isn't nasty per se but I steer clear of it now.

I would be terrified to eat from those booth and street vendors in Bangkok. We all cry and whine because there's a stray hair on the restroom floor in an American hotel, but then eat food from a nasty roadside, unsanitary vendor. LOL! I'd be terrified, but I'd eat it! I'm glad yall covered this. I've always been afraid to travel to an area with such different culture and language barriers. You make it seem do-able.

Is vgshwk a plant to increase engagement? 🙂 Trip sounds rough because it was so short! Very interesting how Mark adapted to the SQ cancelation, I would have promptly taken a pass to rebook it at a future date. Was hoping for Mark to just lower the hacking laugh instances but nope, this was probably the most laughs ever in a video! I was going to do a Top 10 pet peeves in this space. The fedora of Nick at FM was easily #1 but now I am not so sure, Mark's laugh may have captured the top spot lol. There is no new Hyatt House in Bangkok, it is a new Cat 1 Hyatt Place near the hospital not too far away from the Hyatt Regency. And there is a great Cat 1 Hyatt Place one BTS stop away from the Hyatt Regency (it plays award availability games, beware) in the Phrom Phong area which is way better to stay in imho, much quieter than the party central atmosphere at the HR. Can't wait for Mark's videos walking up and down Sukhumvit and near Nana Plaza areas ...You may double your subscribers. I should do that myself to finally gain more than the 55 subscribers I have. And GO LIONS, that was just an unbelievably epic performance. If Mark ever needs to unload a ticket please contact me and I will stop messing with you about your laugh. Superbowl of Bust, bring us the Chiefs!

Nope just a fan from our Vegas show who likes to help us out by commenting a lot! Much appreciated as are your comments George! Hope you are having a great New Year! I've stayed at the older Hyatt Place one stop from HR. Got a suite upgrade and it was a great hotel. Can't help you with Mark's laugh!

A Chinese airline with no rice? I bet they still had those god awful chicken sausages or hotdogs for breakfast that they always have in Asia.

This edition was noting but a Wah Wah. Just wining and moaning of Mark. Especially most annoying about first class travel complaining. Do you even try to connect with your audience? I can assure you 80 percent of your subscribers don’t travel first class and they really don’t care about what kind of ramen you may get or not. Just do a little soul searching before creating content before we reach to unsubscribe button. My $0.02

What was negative? Sounded to me like he had a great time. We offered plenty of advice based on our actual travels. He even went into detail on how he overcame a last minute cancelation. He reviews the hotels and spoke about his experience in them. And yes he didn’t like the seat on SQ. If I had a dollar for every person I’ve heard of complain about that seat! That said, I’m genuinely asking here. Do you want us to not be honest? Did we not provide a lot here?

@@20minutetravelFirst of all my criticism was constructive. I am a Las Vegan but I am watching you in Thailand in my other home. I subscribe and follow all 3 channels and I watch almost 95% of them. This particular one sounded like a car lost traction and went to a ditch. I want to watch your programs as long as continues but you need to stay on the course TMHO.
