Watch Ricky’s practice video on hole #1. Puts first two shots on the island about 20 right of the basket right on top of each other. Then he grabs a different disc to make the adjustment and drops the third shot right on the pole. Apparently hole #1 isn’t that hard 😎

I highly recommend the RODE Go Wireless II packs. has a wireless receiver that plugs right into a camera 1/8th inch jack, and records simultaneously. They're not terribly expensive, but the receiver only has two mic capability.

Just a random mic recommendation. Tascam DR-10 (or similar). All self contained. No RF or wireless to deal with. Easy footage dump and sync in post.

To use 4 microphones, get the following: 2x Rode Wireless Go II microphone sets 1x Rode SC11 TRS Splitter Cable 1x DCS-1 Dual Cold Shoe Mount These can all be purchased on the Rode website. I use both sets for my KZbin channel when I have 3-4 people on. Set the 4x microphones to Backup record, and set the Button to None so nobody accidentally mutes themselves by unintentionally pressing the button. Set the 2x receivers to -12 dB gain, Merged mode, so the audio is the same volume level for each set. Recording needs to be set to Standard Quality (Compressed). Make sure all transceivers and microphones are updated to the latest firmware.

13:20 Guillotine is the word for both the choke and the head-chopping device. I have no idea why anyone would think differently; the choke is named after the device so it's the same word. The double l is pronounced like a y in both cases. Guillotine fact: it was invented in the French Revolution to make head-chopping executions more humane. The other option at the time was the headsman's axe, and it's pretty hard to actually take someone's head off in one shot, which gets messy and ugly. The guillotine was faster and more reliable.
