Thanks Ricky for making the point about not focusing so much on a chain link but rather focus on the muscle memory and feel of how much it takes to get it to the basket, I went and practiced in the backyard today and that helped me tremendously

Thanks for the tips Ricky!!!I've been riding the bottom of advanced decision in Alaska. I'm now focused on being the best putter in Alaska. Practice and finding that "muscle memory" is key. You're commitment has been an inspiration to me! I'll update you on how your success has inspired and changed myself as a putter.

Gotta start getting these guys lapel mics. That big bus just drowned out an answer to a question I was wondering myself.
@StevenCain228 жыл бұрын
What is a lapel mic? I don't know much about audio, I wish I knew more. Plus I don't know if my camera could handle such a microphone.
@TheDrumBum238 жыл бұрын
A lapel mic is a microphone that is worn by the speaker. That might be difficult for a disc golf clinic as it might be uncomfortable. You could do that or look into getting a microphone sound dampener or something that helps the mic block out wind and other sounds other than the speaker.

also called a Lav or a Lavalier mic, they make super cheap ones available on amazon that can be recorded straight from an iphone if your camera can't take an XLR or 1/16" jack line.

The clip at the end isn't very slow like he was talking about. It seems the same speed when he pulls the disc back and then putts it forward. I guess that's why he missed two
@StevenCain229 жыл бұрын
Tyler Hamrick When Pro's practice putt, usually they are not putting as much concentration into making it but are more focusing on mechanics. Also, the focus of energy is at the end of his stroke, which means at the "hit" point he putts the majority of the energy in, even though the entire thing may look the same speed.
