I don't know how I ever studied the word without Enduring Word Commentary and this preacher. I've gone through the book of Daniel by studying the commentary and listening to everyone of his corresponding messages and I can't tell you how my heart and spiritual life has grown. My problem with pre trib teaching is that you are not telling Christians to prepare for tribulation. And when tribulation comes they are shipwrecked.

We should watch and be ready for the Lords coming. I think the best way to prepare is to put our faith and trust in the Lord. Pray and strengthen our relationship with him. He provides for the sparrow and he provides for his people.

@@cathygonzales8127 I have prepared by practicing the Sermon on the Mount and living ps. 41. Blessed is he that considers the poor. The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. My insurance policy against tribulation. Purchased from the homeless. I am not pre trib. I believe Yeshua when He said 4 times in John Ch. 6 that He would return on the last day. The day before we enter eternity. Confirmed by Martha the day Lazarus was raised.

If we believe in the pre-tribulation Rapture of the church, then we are looking for Jesus to return, and not making plans to endure that horrible time of human history. There are many indicators that the early church was looking for Jesus to return, and not preparing for the Great Tribulation period. Thanks for writing!

I agree we need to be prepared for his second coming, however, we as the church "Body of Christ "should be preaching the Gospel according to the Mystery not the Gospel of the Kingdom there is a difference between which church has ignored - Ephesians 3:1-13

I will be discussing how we prepare for Christ second coming, but many Christians confuse this with his bodily return read colossians 1: 26-27 & 2 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 corinthians 1:6.

Matthew 24 is only concerned with the events leading up to and including the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70ad. ..... Not for now.

Regarding prophecy...lots of godly people disagree on these things, which is fine. We all need to study to show ourselves approved, and then be gracious and kind to other Christians who have a different view. Blessings in Jesus!

Christ's parousia occurred in 70ad. You can watch for it all you want, but it is past.
