Philo I have to say there are enough holes that are separators; it’s just unusual because it’s separation for players with touch who can handle all the elevation changes and obstacles. To me it’s more interesting to see than someone being able to separate themselves by throwing 100 feet farther than most people.

This course needs to be upgraded to an elite tournament. I want to see more courses like this one on the tour. It might get players to have a more well rounded game. This course takes touch and thought and is an equalizer because you can’t get by by just being able to throw 100 feet farther than most other people.

Can someone please explain to me why Jomez is not allowed to cover certain events?
@christianryle60622 жыл бұрын
Jomez basically had to pay to cover the DGPT this year. Probably got the rights to the elite series. Jomez also never did every event during the year.

@chrispreperato55622 жыл бұрын
"Not allowed" is probably the wrong phrasing; they didnt cover any Silver Series events basically ever, with Resistance Discs open being the exception in 2021 because Nate and Jerm were playing it (they also seemed to shoot a ton of other content around that same time + might have been recording ESPN2 commentary). You dont see them at Belton or Mid-America or other Silver Series events...and because Masters Cup is that this year, they arent there.
@christianryle60622 жыл бұрын

There are actually 29 holes there.
@chrispreperato55622 жыл бұрын
They used to play 24 holes I believe, but, its the only event where they did that in the entire tour...and you never see the PGA play a course with random extra holes.
@Dr.PatrickC.Bailey2 жыл бұрын
They've been playing 24 for years. I feel like I've been robbed of 6 holes of disc golf enjoyment per round...Even Philo mentioned it was a shame we're missing some holes. Plus, DeLa is my home course. It gives me a visceral pleasure to see the pros hit the same trees I have hit a million times lol. Now I don't get to see Mutumbo swat down forehands on Hole 11...
