This song to me always felt like the calming before the storm before events happened.

Gives me feelings of desolate roads or villages with the sounds of insects at dusk. Either before or after tragedy comes. Like somewhere has been deserted and the animals are coming back in or it’s been wiped out and left behind, the wildlife drawn to the scene of carnage. An image of violent stillness. Blood since stilled and dried but rife with scenes of horror.
