This is racing at its finest, where the optimal racing line and braking points are worth valuable tenths of a second. its nice to see the return of Okutama in grid 2 but this track was very very fast in grid 2 (lots of flashbacks) and it had some annoying hills, how this track going to be in grid autosport?

I don't know. I bought Grid 2, it's a good game and I like it, but I don't see much difference with Autosport. Would like to try demo version

This game is a departure from GRID 2's emphasis on casual gamers and is aiming to be much like the first GRID. That's at least what Codemasters is aiming for. They also said that the handling will be more realistic than that of GRID(which isn't a sim by any means but was more believable than GRID 2's).

AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEE . Congratulations Codemasters after first beautiful Grid something was happening with you and you gaved us that piece of .... named Grid 2 . I hope you fired all that producers and hired new ones because i must tell you Grid Autosport is awesome , still more arcade then race sim but is that kind of arcade loved by race sims players . after 1 hour of playing i can say that : AI = great , Cars control = great , Graphics = great (except that cockpit view blured and not detailed ). Well i just want to say keep going like that , this is the way for great games . Best regards from 1 player who played your games starting with Toca Race .

If it's going to be like the first Grid then bamn, you have you my money, if it's going to be like Grid 2, I'm going else where. Grid 2 was such a disappointment in a series that I thought was semi-sim. Grid 2 is just so god damn arcadey and if I wanted that I would have gone with some other title like NFS or some shit.

Grid1 was 100% arcade, what are the developers talking about? Grid Autosport Graphics are really horrible, all those filters make it look so unrealistic and depressing. Physics look better than other Grid games, but still very arcade. I am sure the final game will feature the same silly menus and cut scenes as all other games in the Codemasters series and the ultra annoying feature of almost all cars been locked and not available to the player from the beginning of the game. The logo of the game is super silly and boyish too, aiming to get the little kids attention.

All cars will be available from the beginning of the game in single race mode. As for arcade, well, that's what it's supposed to be. A fun arcade game that's grounded on realism. It's not meant to be the most realistic simulation in the world.

Shane Wofford Yes, F1 2010-11-12-13-14, GT, Forza and other games are meant to be advertised as arcade and fun racing, but in a mysterious way they are all heavily promoted as simulators. Why do some companies feel the immense need to put their arcade games in the simulation category by all means? People who buy these dislike the simulation games a lot. It's a great paradox.

ThreeDaysOfDan Grid1 was not only arcade, it had the worst (arcade or realistic does not matter) physics of any racing game i have played, cars handling was very unpredictable. It also had some of the worst online racers i have ever raced with. I have not played Grid2, but i think there is a great chance that it was better than Grid1. Dirt1 had horrible physics too, but Dirt2 was a lot better and i can say it was a nice and fun arcade game (but it had horrible menus and cut scenes and overall style that i don't like, they turned a good game into a medieval torture for me).
