Hey Disc, was experimenting around with some builds and while testing thought I'd give Penitence a go. Was actually incredibly surprised at the survivability and damage it deals out if you stack atonements beforehand, specifically for mob-filled boss fights. Have you messed around with it in M+? Don't know whether heaven's wrath is necessary, but dropping a tiny bit of schism duration for a get out of jail free card felt really good in 25/26's this week.

btw - idk how many times you're using pw life - i swapped it for overall healing increase. Fade talents + dmg reduction from flash heal is also very tempting to take.

I couldn't do without Life. Being it fills a void in our Spellbook it's invaluable to have a large instant cast at our disposal. It's harder to use, but worth it!

What is the WA that you use for the ''red bar'' that you use for important mob casts that need to be cc'd?

Hi! Im fairly new to Disc and have been running Halo for the entire time. Can you explain the pros and cons of Halo and Star?

I think the main reason I vote for Star is because it's an instant cast and Halo isn't. Also showed examples in here where we can get 2 dark empowered Stars in a single Shadow Covenant window getting way more output, whereas Halo is only every other. Downside is Star has a learning curve, Halo is free.

I hide buffs, minimap, and some action bars during combat; personal buffs are largely irrelevant, especially to aide combat. More screen space is helpful.

Another question, what are your thoughts on Leech versus Vampiric Embrace? I noticed you are using VE here. I typically just run a TE build from subcreation which is usually running the leech. I really have no idea about the two. I hear people always say leech is super good for healers and have been running leech as a default kind of thing. VE seems like it would do more group healing right? Does leech help out with the group or it is strictly a self heal type of thing?

VE only works with single target shadow spells so dark star doesn't do anything, you wasting 2 global seconds of VE with this@@cha4zii884

I'm not convinced it's the play (love beefy penances. Esp. for Yalnu) but... Running a high haste build (41% in my case), clipping penance, and putting an even higher prio on farming cdr than normal, 60%+ shadow cov is attainable. I'm in the 24 key range atm. Think farming cdr would result in a dead group in the higher keys with this. But boy it's fun.

Hm... I don't see how any of this is possible. I am full haste at 35%... additionally 60% uptime means you have 2 out at the same time every pull... which is impossible. Show me and I'll believe u!
