Since its inception the Mixmag DJ Lab has been a constant stream of some of the best quality dance music out there, and Disclosure's set was no different.
Courtesy of Ibiza Rocks' new festival We Are Rockstars (W.A.R!), quite possibly the freshest act of 2012, Disclosure, brang their irresistible combo of garage-esque sultry sped up female vocals and bass tinged house beats to the Mixmag office.
Since releasing their free E.P 'Carnival' which received over 20,00 downloads in 100 countries the bass duo from South London have moved from strength to strength. Their remix of Jessie Ware's 'Running' has now clocked up over 300,000 KZbin views and things look set to only get bigger with the duo being confirmed as monthly residents of both W.A.R! events in Ibiza and Mallorca this summer.

Tune selection is spot on - Nice to see two young lads keeping the vinyl spirit alive with a really late 80's/early 90's Detroit DJ style - quick in, drop the bass, quick out. Works really well.

One thing i added to my liking of these lads, is they keep it original & real. Still using the 1210's and making it about the big tracks! Give them their commercial fame etc, fine, but unlike so many in the commercial scene, they're still keeping it real and know where to keep their roots!!

Really.... ok, sure..but you do realize that only thing thats different here is they are playing MP3's with vinyl emulation instead of playing MP3's with cd emulation.. so your argument is kind of "simulated leather" vs "pleather".
