Where do you all think Garage comes from? Garage House and UKG evolved from Deep House and that was made in the East Coast of the United States. Hip Hop and R'n'B wasn't the only great musical import from America (eventhough you took "our" Dubstep lol).

Deep house is very much a Chicago thing! (I am from there). But I hear some Detroit influence in Disclosure's lovely music too. They do have their own style. Garage music was originally from the UK and the East coast in the 90s. I am very happy it's making a comeback......

The term "Garage" came from the club Paradise Garage in New York but it was all Deep House before hand.Chicago is the origin of House Music but New Jersey never gets credit for creating Deep House.
