He’s rich from the winstreak and the 1st augment allows him to save even more gold on his level. You heard him say “it’s cheap to level” because he never have to dip below 30 on any of them. It’s just a rule of thumb at this point, but there are exceptions sometimes

more frontline and spellweaver helps tf. 6 disco doesn't give that big of a buff from 5 disco just read the traits. I'd rather and it's much better to have an illaoi and ekko than useless taric

only way TF loses is when they get access to backline, illaoi gives 2 tentacles that help stall for longer, also playing 6 disco doesn't mean shit when you already have tf 3, you just need time to let him cook

He knew there was a solid chance that he was selling Akali at that point tho, and nobody else he wanted the item slammed on. If he was planning to actually carry the Akali to the endgame, Shiv would have never been given to Akali. Context matters.

Point is early patches are unpredictable but at competitive level you'll end up with same things in long run. His words may align with survival instincts but actions are based on what's available. It's the mistake all os us make at some point and never realize. Yes context does matter, how much you see it also matters :)

Why not archangels for first item? Shiv is stronger early but with strong frontline AA is fine too imo and late game pairs better with ziggs/karthus/tf. Also I would rather play around bow than rod.

Archangels value early is horrible and since you want to play a strong board early on in most of your games, it's probably one of the worst items you could ever slam here. TFT rarely is about going for the most optimal items for lategame as if you focus too much on that, you'll just die before hitting anything significant.

i mean are u rank 1 challenger? Didn't think so. Ziggs, karthus and tf arent even guarantee'd. It's an RNG game, you can slam arcangels and not even see one of those units you just listed. You're always getting new units and shit always happens. I can tell you're low elo. You play for what's strongest on your current board. Then you transition later. Item components always come back lmao, you're acting like he wont see those components again
