Ironically this is how I died when I first started the game because I didn't seriously expect them to create death situations straight out the gate. Turns out I was wrong and that definitely set the tone of the entire game for me afterwards.

It's kind of janky to die from something as meaningless as failing to reach a ceiling fan. Game is riddled with poor game design. Just beat it a week ago and it deserves a 6/10 at best. Tides of Numera has way better dialog and actually has combat instead of just being a visual novel.

This actually happened to me the first time I played the game, lol. Except it was a little different for me in that I had him turn on the light and got a message about the light being intense and painful and was given the choice to leave it on or not. Well, I left it on and that was obviously the wrong choice!
