It was probably more accurate to say "(Cuno is afraid) of AND for Cunosesse" given their sad codependency. I was never able to fully unearth what Cunoesse went through though I did feel bad knowing she killed a kid and had no one to help her while she was 10 years old in my second playthrough of the game. Poor girl...

It's not confirmed, but Cuno mentions snuff radio when Harry asks about Cunoesse. There used to be a snuff radio station operating nearby according to the dice maker, but it shut down. I think the most likely explanation is that Cunoesse fled to Le Caillou to escape what must have been a nasty childhood already. Then she got kidnapped or was otherwise forced to kill another child for the station, and then managed to escape (perhaps escaping with her life was her prize for killing). That's when Cuno found her. One of Harry's skills says she was likely in shock from her murder when he found her so it couldn't have been too long since it happened.

Lots of people actually connected Composure to Kim, but your interpretation intrigues me… Some even related Kim to Inland Empire. I love the fact that everyone has so many different interpretations of portraits and characters!

yeah the main issue is that some skill portraits aren't that obvious: perception, rhetoric and volition for example, but you can easily see the characters meant for it in some: half-light, hand-eye coordination, empathy and savoir faire. composure is a really hard one since it could basically be any character. I even thought it was meant to be Pryce for a while

@@umtic I think we only have brief descriptions like he is described with gold come out of his mouth. Also very cool! I'm from the Philippines, and our capital of Manila really reminds me of Revachol. A once marvelous and beautiful city destroyed by the war, having never really recovered.

9:58 In defence of vicquemare- Its outright stated vicquemare is clinically depressed,and implied he was always there for harry through all of his meltdown,even figuring out exactly where Harry went when judit couldn't find him at his apartment. I believe Jean is very cynically re-stating what was said to him when he brought up the idea of getting a disability pension.

Ableist words from a depressed person (Jean ) is still ableism directed at a different disabled person (Harry). The idea that Jean is just copying what was said to him is also not in the game and is more of a theory. I just included this voiceline because there’s a lot of ableism in the text that you have to confront as Harry and I couldn’t put in the long conversation with Jean about Harry being unfixable if you try and sober Harry up, and that part of the game really hit me and solidified his ableism, since addiction is also a disability

i'm sorry if the first version of my comment came off aggressive. I later realized bringing up more examples of his ableism in the game gave a better explanation than "if someone said that about my disability rights i'd be pissed"
