I like how you say you were talking about Piper being weird and being a druggy to Scott Hall, but at the time, he was in bad shape because of drugs and alcohol. You are getting I side of the story. You were a glorified jobber. When Scott got clean, he was a class act. Kevin is now a great dude.

I heard Austin's interview with Piper. The veterans fucked with him for years when he first got into the business. And then when he finally started getting some success and got a chance in NY, the veterans there sabotaged his promo in MSG. That shit must have stayed with him his whole career.

Well, case in point, Mr. Clark. It goes to show ppl Hogan wasn't the selfish prick dome folks made him out to be. I do believe he may have played occasional politics to ensure himself a top spot in whatever organization he was working for at the time. But, I don't think he was deliberately attempting to hold anyone's career back because of it. He took bumps and did jobs, too. Look at him losing to Bill Goldberg

@@KeepinIt100OFFICIAL that argument is justifiable for some wrestlers but others with contracts like brett had guaranteed money so they got paid regardless. The rent free makes since to me no matter the reason be it money or protecting the gimmick. fact is Macho and Rowdy were damn near consumed by what Hogan was doing and they were already established stars, had the money and could've gone to the competition if need be. @@dranzer2545 research dude, some of them had "Guaranteed Contracts" meaning you're freaking getting paid no matter what and again i emphasized some wrestlers had them not all. Also lets not freaking pretend hogan had the power to get rid of macho or brett. They hired brett knowing there's no love loss between him and hogan and nash for that matter. so obviously hogans words carried weight but they weren't deciding factors all the time. The fact is if you can draw, shit can be put aside money is money. Some of these guys again i say some were worried about hogan trying to stain there image, which to me is partly a ego thing. I love Roddy. In my opinion the greatest heel wrestling ever had. Roddy in his later years in WCW was out of it and was really paranoid. Scott and Nash did this shoot interview way back in 2010 or 2008 burying Piper on how in his mind the NWO group wanted to screw him but I don't believe it to be true. Another thing Nash can take Piper any day especially a big guy from Detroit who enlisted in the U.S army and was a bouncer I wouldn't wanna get into a fight with him. Again it still pains me that Piper is gone and I hope he was able to forgive both Kevin and Scott before passing away.

Nash promoted is own tour of Aruba a year or two before Piper died. He booked Piper and his son Colt on the tour to give Piper's son son experience wrestling. Nash thought they were cool. A few years later Piper buried Nash on his podcast. Nash took exception because Piper was lieing about their altercation. Meltzer who hates Nash even said Piper was lieing. But Meltzer also said Nash should have just let it slide but i disagree because if Nash had not tried to set the record straight publically, he'd be getting harrased to this day with people falsely claiming Piper threw him out of the lockeroom. Anyways point is I think Piper started losing his mind even more last year or two before his death. If you recall he also got into it with Steve Austin a month or two prior to his passing.

Funny how you got 2 guys from 2 different generations both saying Nash is a straight shooter who backs up what he says. Yet you will still get people who buy into the BS internet nobody haters say about him. People might not like it but from what i've heard nobody fucked with Nash back in the day, for many reasons. People were scared of him. It seems lost of people who talk shit that he was legit 6'10 and over 300lbs and was an athlete. Nobody says shit to a guy that size. He would have destoryed Piper in a fight and no the age gap wasn't huge. Piper was like 44 and Nash was like 37. Also Piper wasn't a hard man but he was off his rocker therefore had the potential to be dangerous.
