my favourite memory with this album was playing it on the kitchen speaker, sitting down on the tiles while my dad makes me food because i went to bed at 6pm and woke up at 11pm :( everything was so dark and hollow but it gave me comfort in that moment. my dad thought he was whiny.

my stark glow pt 2 moment was sitting on the bus on the way home from a grade 10 trip to new york. i was crying about my first heartbreak and listening to headless horseman over and over again.

To me Something (1) sounds like the noises you hear on the forest at night. Like you were lost on the dark

I kinda feel bad, because when I listened to The Moon I had only just started listening to Phil and the type of music phil produces, and I didn't really get acquired to it yet, so when I listened to it, I heard the beautiful harmonizing and overlapping guitar riffs in the beginning and then the wall of noise i was like "what? Well ok" and the the horns hit and I'm like "yea damn this sounds great" but I never really payed attention to the lyrics or the instrumentals until I started learning how to play it on piano and when I listened to it like the 10th or 14th time after fully recognizing and appreciating what phil did with the song and with his music, it never really hit the same, still one of if not my favorite song that I've listened to so far in my life, but I just wish I had appreciated it sooner.

If it wasn’t clear, “I Am Sad On My Lawn” was a joke we snuck in and not a real song-don’t go looking for it!
