Disconnect Pilot Tubes at the End of the Bore with The Break Out Tool Assembly

When the pilot tube steering head reaches the reception shaft, the alignment has been installed on line and grade. Akkerman’s proprietary Breakout Tool Assembly assists with the separation of the pilot tube joints and their removal as they are advanced. The Breakout Tool Assembly includes jaw inserts to position on the pilot tube notches, the Breakout Tool with hydraulic cylinder, a power pack, and a remote controller.
