I’ve my bottle of Narciso Rodriguez for him since 2015 . I was lot younger and I wasn’t really captured by the scent but I did appreciate , its uniqueness . Now that I’m lot older I do like the note of violet leaf so it’s a gem 💎

Great picks, I think it's still a good idea to talk about those wonderful scents ! Fortunately I also own quite a few in the list and some of them are among my absolute favorites : Plum Japonais ; Gucci PH II ; Tobacco Reserve Other discontinued fragrances I'm happy to have in my collection would be : Odin NY - 07 Tanoke ; Mugler Cologne & Ultra Zest ; Cartier - Déclaration d'un soir ; MFK - Lumière Noire ; Tom Ford - Noir EDP & Grey Vetiver (EDP + EDT) ; Robert Piguet - Casbah ; Guerlain - LIDGE ; Dior - Homme Cologne 2011 (w/ Iris) ; Lalique - Ombre Noire ; Prada - Luna Rossa Extreme ; Van Cleef & Arpels - Midnight in Paris (EDT) ; Bulgari - Aqua Amara

Loved Midnight in Paris and Homme Cologne.. Aqua Amara wasn't that great, but super hyped up at the time. I recently scored a bottle of LIDGE for a great price, and I didn't think that seller knew what he had in his hands!
@ScentedMomentsАй бұрын
Wow, what a phenomenal collection you have! Plum Japonais and Gucci PH II are iconic, and Tobacco Reserve is such a gem. I also have and adore many of the ones you listed-Midnight in Paris, Cartier Declaration d'Un Soir, the Mugler fragrances and LIDGE especially bring back so many memories. I didn't knoe that Casbah was discontinued! Luckily have a bottle of it too, stunning churchy incense scent! Thank you for sharing!
@artiefakt4402Ай бұрын
@@arunashamal Same for LIDGE (and many other bottles in my collection), that's why I think it's still interesting to talk about those fragrances, sometimes you can find them second hand for a bargain, especially those vintage designer scents 🙂! I must say Amara is my most complimented scent, especially when combined with Molecule 01, that's probably why it's kind of special to me 😄
@artiefakt4402Ай бұрын
@@ScentedMoments My pleasure ! And you're right about Casbah, I don't know why I thought it was discontinued, but apparently it's still available on their website😉 Funny enough, I didn't really like it until recently, I've owned it for several years (blind buy at a good price) , tried a few times without success, let it aside for ~2 years... and now I find it's one of the most beautiful incenses in my collection !😂 That's one of the thing I love with fragrances, the way our tastes / noses evolve overtime, always interesting to revisit 'old' bottles & samples, thanks for your inspiring videos ! 😁

I'm wearing Aramis tobacco reserve right now ,ot was my scent of the night for going to bar and watching football 36 degree fahrenheit, works good.

Aramis Tobacco Reserve is such a solid choice for colder weather! It sounds perfect for a cozy night out watching football. Great pick!

Wow! Brings back memories. I wasted Gucci pour homme ii, wore everywhere. and if someone is interested in getting Pure malt try to get the 2009 era formulation as the later one does not smell anything like the original. Also that Guerlain bottle bring back memories my favorite from those 3 was Songe d'un bois... I think it is back with a different name. The other 2 I miss from that era was Givenchy Play Intense and Armani Attitude!
@ScentedMomentsАй бұрын
I have never tried the 2009 formulation, but mine is quite old now and smells divine imo. Songe d’un Bois d’Eté was indeed a masterpiece, but they kept the same scent in Bois Mysterieux imo. Givenchy Play Intense and Armani Attitude are so missed, too. Thank you for sharing these beautiful memories!

Amazing collection 😮. Guerlain rose nacree is going for €1k on eBay. Crazy. Have you tried Rose Barbare ? It's insane that these well renowned houses always seem to discontinue their best fragrances!? Mind-blowing! Anyway , Keep up the great work. Love from London 🙏🏿

The House of Aramis launched my fragrance journey when I was a sophomore in high school (circa 1978) if you don’t count my father’s Old Spice. 😉

This is a great list, I just subscribed since we have similar taste. My GPH2 is down to the last 5ml and the prices on eBay are insane so I ordered Parfums Vintage Imbue yesterday. I'm hoping it will be a good substitute, but I'll probably end up on eBay searching for a GPH2 bottle anyway.

I finally sold both my Pure Havane bottles for ridiculous prices. TBH, Reyane Tradition II Wild has been a good replacement for next to nothing
@ScentedMomentsАй бұрын
Selling Pure Havane must have been bittersweet! Reyane Tradition II Wild sounds like a great budget-friendly replacement-I’ll have to check it out.

Really really sad but also annoying that they discontinue a lot of the great great perfumes T_T
@ScentedMomentsАй бұрын
I completely agree-it’s frustrating when amazing fragrances get discontinued. It’s like losing little pieces of fragrance history.

I think Tom Ford "Santal Blush" is similar to Plum Japonais. Xerjoff "La Capitale" is also somewhat similar to Plum Japonais ❤

@muntublackson4757 I have the original bottle. It's the dark opaque one. It's from 2020.

Thank you for the suggestions! Personally, I don’t get much similarity between Plum Japonais and Santal Blush or La Capitale, but they’re both great fragrances in their own right.

copy of seldomnly often - its hilarious
@ScentedMomentsАй бұрын
Your comment is vague and unsubstantiated. If you’re implying I’m copying someone, I suggest you provide clear examples instead of making baseless accusations. I take pride in creating original content, and unless you have something constructive or specific to say, I’d appreciate it if you refrained from leaving comments like this.
@BertolucciKasparovАй бұрын
Out of curiosity, I decided to explore the content of Seldomly Often, a channel I wasn’t familiar with. I find it truly puzzling how one could insinuate plagiarism when the two channels’ content shares absolutely no resemblance, aside from the fact that both discuss perfumes-something dozens of others do as well. Furthermore, if there were any grounds for accusations of imitation, they certainly wouldn’t involve Scented Moments, which has been creating videos for over six years, while Seldomly Often only began publishing content seven months ago. This accusation is not only unfounded but also entirely devoid of logical reasoning.
